SPOILER ALERT:Mortal Kombat X DIGITAL COMIC DISCUSSION

I'm going to venture out and say that the big bad of the comics will be the sub boss of the game. I feel like Havik is probably behind a lot of what's going on in the comics and the reason could be because he is causing chaos in the realms in order for Noob Saibot to just sneak in and take the amulet. The Kamidogu is just a subplot (IMO) to the true plot which revolves around the amulet.

We should also be looking at MK9's endings because Raiden didn't transfer his energy to the warriors per se, but his ending did reveal that four new warriors would come to light. Cassie Cage, Jacqui Briggs, Taka(ha)shi Takeda, and Kung Jin are those four. That's just one ending, but it did hold a lot of truth.

See? That ending was non canon, yet it was base for something for you, that could eventually become canon.

That's EXACTLY what I meant with MK:A endings. No difference.

I already told you though that the reason Armageddon endings are different is because that game wasn't intended to be followed up on. NRS didn't even know if another MK game would be made. Also, none of the endings have proved to be canon at this point. NONE of them. Endings from other games were meant to be followed up and so were endings from MK9.

So... what the hell is that bullshit that they pulled out of their asses about Scorpion having some sort of "limited fire supply" and him having the risk of being destroyed if he uses his fire powers too much...

That's bullshit in its purest form lol.

I liked that thing about a link between Scorpion's feelings and fire though.

Shao Kahn's is considered canon now.

I think it's great. Adds depth to him. Every time he sets himself ablaze, he's reliving the moment when he lost everything. If he lingers on those thoughts for too long then rage takes over and he loses his humanity once again.

The comic is easily the best development Scorpion has gotten since MKII.

Hanzo says "Burn hot for too long, and I risk destroying myself all over again." I'm pretty sure he means that channeling too much Hellfire will turn him back into Scorpion. He's not literally running out of it. :P

He said he had to focus on his family and clans death to conjure the fire. I think he means thinking to much on it will cause him to fall back into revenge.

Oh thanks guys, I thought Scorpion was being literal about the fire destroying him, like he was going to die.

If it is indeed what you claim then that's pretty awesome.

For not only can the Kamidogu daggers contain a god, they also have the power to create one . . .

To be honest, when I read this part I can't think of Onaga as the big bad. Of course it doesn't mean anything, but it makes look like someone else who's a "weak" character now will find a way to gather the daggers and turn into the final boss (a "god" version of said character, I mean). Reiko? Daegon? Meat?

So did the print issue of the latest issue came out yet? I thought we would hear on who the big bad of MKX is now today?!

It's still early morning, dude, we'll get details later. And no, there's nothing confirming that. We'll at least learn who the big bad of the comic is.
