I know they are putting Scorpion right through our...mouths.
But this secret origin is important, as I said last page.
It's the ambient for Bi-Han and the perspective of the story on Shirai Ryu's point of view, probably some questions will finally meet an answer.
So, instead of putting Scorpion everywhere, they shold put him where he is needed, and I think this chapter is one of these things he will be surely important.

Yeah. I'm excited to see the backstories for these new characters in these comics, or just new storylines in general. But dwelling on more of Scorpion's past... I just don't care for it. Chapters 10-12 are gonna be a slog.
I don't hate Scorpion. He's a good character. I just don't care to learn more about him when I can be learning about D'Vorah or Ferra and Torr instead.

I'd rather be learning the back stories of some of these new characters that haven't ever been in an MK game, as opposed to the same origin story that's been told time after time, for the same character.

Pretty sure Scorpion's origin is going to be one issue, just like Kotal's. Black Dragon vs. Red Dragon is also supposed to be in those chapters.

I just hate when people affirm we are in some kind of Scorpion dictatorship for 20 years, when this is the first time that Scorpion is absolute on everything about MKX. Besides that, I think they could present us a more variety of things, you know, MK fans are very rich on their preferences, and diversity is something to be cultivated.

It is not like scorpion was the hero and was in every chapter and killed everyone. He had a small role. And it is obvious they gonna have a statue of Scorpion in thr kollection edition. It is like you have a new batman game but you get gordan statue

If Reiko dies, it can happen in the next chapter on Sunday, since Kotal is gonna go back for revenge.
And just because Reiko survives the first arc doesn't mean he's in the game. Kittelsen has stated time and time again that a character's presence in the comic does not guarantee their presence in the game.

There are things still not revealed, we only knew that on Sub-Zero's perspective or on Quan Chi's.
And you know, only the first matters :laugh:
Nice, but do you think she is powerful enough to be a power to invoke the gods before the gods?
Kotal even apologized to his father. Seems something very ancient.

The chapter this Sunday is still all about Kotal. And we'll get more of him in issue #6, when his gang comes under attack by the Shokan.
