The supers are all canned cut-scenes. It really doesn't matter how they look because given there's only one per combatant, and that the moves in question are all activated by a universal, all but automatic L+R bumper input command, you'll be seeing these moves ad nauseum.
By the time you've played through the campaign mode, you'll likely be so sick of the canned cut-scene supers you'll probably trade the game. What led Netherregion to believe a clearly casual, fan service fighter could get away with SFIII-like super move frugality is beyond logic...
