Should Mortal Kombat 2011 bring back Hara-Kiri?

Yeah i like the idea of saying "you don't get to do your fatality on me, suckeeeeeer, mwahahahahahahah" when I'm being beaten by spammers, jerks, etc.

Maybe if the winner got to control if the loser does a Hara-kiri, but not if it takes away focus and time from other things NRS could be working on.

Agree!

But I'd want brutalities and friendships instead. Also take out babalities if needed for more space and/or time for other things in the game.

Too late for MK (2011), since this thread was brought back from the dead; but as far as MK10 goes, I hope not.
I'd rather see Brutalities and Friendships return before Hara-Kiris return.

Hara-Kiri always felt like it was rewarding the loser for losing.
NO.
Fatalities and other -alities / finishers should be a reward for the winner.

Now now guys, it wouldn't be a Hara-Kiri if the winner controls the loser to do it.
After all Hara-Kiri means committing suicide due to the embarrasement that you failed your emperor.
I would like the Hara-Kiris in MK10. They will give me the chance to deny the winners fatality if they beat me in a cheap way and i feel like they dissapointed me and don't deserve to do a fatality.

And how the hell are Hara-Kiris rewarding the loser. They still die don't they.

It's rewarding the loser because it's taking away the reward that the winner has of doing a fatality, for winning.
"Cheap" win or not (I hate when people use the word cheap because they should just get better at the game), a win is a win, and that's the winners reward for winning.

Why should the loser be able to do a fatality input on their own character, if they're the ones that lost?
It's stupid.
If you want to do a fatality input, then stop b****ing about losing, get better and win some matches.

woah, calm down brah, heheheh.
Im really good at the game (I have more wins that loses and i usually do fatalities) and i don't really care whenever a worthy oponent does a fatality on me, I actually approve it. But when some kid spams the cheapa** Kano cannonball thing or Noob's teleport izuna drop, or Kitana's pain in the a** to avoid throlling fans, the whole match they kinda dissapoint me.

There you go, using "cheap" again to describe someone who beats someone else with 1 or 2 repetitive moves.
While it IS 1 or 2 moves constantly being done, nothing in MK9 is unbeatable, and if you know how to use your character properly and have mastered that character, you can EASILY whoop those people's asses who repeat the same stuff.
They usually have a pretty predictable pattern.

You sound like one of those people who uses Hara-Kiri's as a justification for losing, especially when you say stuff like:
They will give me the chance to deny the winners fatality if they beat me in a cheap way and i feel like they dissapointed me and don't deserve to do a fatality.

"Cheap" is often a word used by people who don't want to get better, so they complain about someone beating their ass with one or 2 repetitive moves.
If the "fans" are THAT upset that they get their asses kicked by a player that has a repetitive pattern, then those fans should get better.
Simple.

Hara-Kiri's are a cop-out for "I suck, but I still want to do a fatality."
MK9 has fatality trainer too, and they can do that if they suck so bad, or they can just get better.

I see you have a different eye on things.

but because I use the word "cheap" doesn't mean that I suck. And I'm not complaining or being upset about anything.

I might sound like them but I'm not. As I said I really enjoy it when im fighting good players. And In those cases I won't use Hara-Kiris.
