Shortest fight.

Hey what was your shortest fight? Mine was against Shang Stung in MK1.
He runs at me. Roundhouse kick, Roundhouse kick, roundhouse kick. Flying kick. DEAD!

Usually, for everyone, its gotta be the first oppenent in Arcade mode. He or she is going to be the weakest. Plus in the older installments, to beat them all you had to do was uppercut.

I've had a couple of 9 second wins with Nightwolf in UMK3. He can consistantly kill opponents faster then just about any other character.

I've won a few matches in MK2 with Kitana before the timer hit 90 against the computer. I don't remember exactly what the timer said, but I'm thinking it was either 91 or 93.

Each time I believe it went the same way, though: I started out with a jump kick/fan throw combo, immediately hit 'em with another jump kick before they got back up, did one or two quick foot sweeps and finished with a standing low kick.

That low kick is nearly impossible for the computer to avoid after you've connected with a sweep if you're playing as certain characters. The only problem is, you're left wide open after you hit 'em with it.

This morning I was playing MKD and we were on the lower level of the Sky Temple Stage, and after the first round my opponent just happened to be standing right at the edge, so as soon as round 2 started I did an uppercut-type move and the CPU just happened to not block it, and fell to his death. I didn't bother noticing if the timer keeps ticking or stops during the stage fatality animation, but if it stopped, then I may have won that one without the clock ticking at all...

MKD--I was Sub-Zero, against Ashra. Froze her, Cold Shoulder. Froze, Cold Shoulder. Then I uppercutted her into the acid. Oh, and by the way, it was the Deadpool.

8.5 seconds...

In MK:Trilogy

I was fighting Shao Khan and when he did his taunt... I comboed him with Noob's LK+LK+LK+LK combo and when he got up... I was dead in five seconds... I never saw a CPU go insane like he did... It was pretty funny though.

i found out a new record :)

Fighting Ashra with Liu Kang and i need 2 uppercuts and then his bicycle kick and in 5 seconds i won. Start time 80 win time 75 :D

okay my three fastest were the exact same time all in mkd chess kombat, baraka vs. liu kang, I was playing in the pit and I just knocked him over the edge. liu kang vs. liu kang. I high dragon fired, then low dragon fired, bicycle kick, then his throw. finally scorpion vs. sub-zero, spear, fire backflip kick, hell fire, teleport kick, teleport kick, throw, then dun-dun-dun fatality.

Well without loosing my fastest kill. (meaning with fatality/etc.) was MK:T

Cyrax VS. Sheeva 10 seconds. (The HP+HK+HK+HP+HK+HK combo) Eer. that combo may be wrong but it was something like that.

I've had faster *Not under 5 seconds* kills.

Ok new quick fight.
When I taped Mortal Kombat D with the chess it was Rayden vs Rayden. I had the master and he had just a sorceror. We were in the pit and heres what happened.
FIGHT!
I try a very fast torpedo but he teleported to avoid it then HE hits me with a torpedo and that was all for my team. THe first time I lost a chess game with my chess team.

Deception online because you can move before the round and if your opponent doesn't know how, BAM it's over. Though I don't do this unless the guy I'm playing is trying to do it to me (usualy n00bs) and it's really easy to counter and their plan backfires.

My shortest fight was against Tanya in MKD. I was Jade, and I only do Vanishing kicks. After the second victory I made her a fatality:)

I've had this happen to me a few times online, I just assumed it was a poor connection. Any chance you can share how to do it? Or at least, how to counter when someone does it to you?

I don't know if I should because how do I know you wont abuse it? Oh well, both players can do it anyway so it doesn't matter.
It's not as easy as you think but all you have to do is hold the direction you want to move then press start (game will pause). When you let go of the direction you character will stop moving. Now you can do it again. Hold a direction and tap start again. This will unpasue the game and you can continue to move before the round as long as you don't let go.
NOTE: You can only move one direction at a time. But you can repeat the process several times before the round. You can even start it as soon as you see some part of the stage before the screen even gets to you! This will confuse your opponent. This can only be done online.

Example: Say you want to start the round behind your opponent. Hold forward, hit start. Let go of forward as soon as your touching your opponent. Now hold either down, or up (doesn't matter). Then hit pause. Your dude will start rotating around you opponent. When your in a favorable postion, make sure you are out of the pause menu before the round starts or prepare for your plan to backfire.

in mkt i was scorpion fighting jade and just ran twards her and did a punching combo for like one sec and she droped dead on the floor then my cousin was cracking up like LMAO

(reply to Dave101 re - 'moving before the round')

Thanks for that Dave. I doubt I'll ever use it but if I do I swear I'll only use my new super-powers for good not evil
