Why would you think it's rap? It's not even remotely. Black Label Society is a band fronted by Zakk Wylde, who is also Ozzy Osbourne's guitarist. He's a hell of a player, probably one of the best out there. They're a bit hard to describe, basically old-school metal mixed with a bit of modern metal and southern rock.

I'm not that into them, but they're not bad. Personally, regardless of what an incredible guitarist he is, I think Zakk's pretty much a dick.
 
I think BLS is pretty Kick Ass. I saw them at OZZFest 2000 on the side stage and they had a trailer out that was promo-ing the hell out of them. I didn't stick around to meet the band as Static X was performing at the time, but I didn't hear anything about Zakk being a dick. I also am a huge fan of his metal guitar licks. He's a mad rad bad Moefoe! and I like southern style metal. So BLS is cool anyday for me.
 
Black Label Society is quite good. I was searching for a certain Zakk Wylde solo on Kazaa (bring it, government) when I found a few songs and decided to check them out. Excellent music, they sound almost like a modernized cross between AC/DC and Led Zeppelin, with some Ozzy-era Sabbath thrown in. In other words, the shit.
 
i saw bls at ozzfest 2004 in detroit michigan they rocked i like superjoint ritual too and slayer and...............................dont get me started
