Scorpion's Primary Costume

@TJHooker I've seen you comment a few times...you're so negative dude seriously lighten up, sometimes if you haven't got anything nice to say - don't say anything at all.

Back to the topic of this thread however, Scorpion has always been my main character I think I know what you mean it seems like he has a bit too much armor on it looks a bit to heavy for a ninja haha...At the same time though it looks really nice and detailed so I'm happy with it =)

Okay, relax. We can discuss this civilly, whether or not an opinion expressed is a negative one.

This is the type of thing that leads to flame wars, not a harmless question posed about a character's costume.
 
Well I think I know what you’re getting at, it does seem like Scorpion’s design has become more and more elaborate over time. I love the way he’s looking for MK9 though. I think NRS have really done an awesome job incorporating his theme into his appearance. His mask resembles the thorax and legs of a scorpion which I think is awesome. It’s a progression from the design of his mask in MKvsDC, which to me looked more like a face hugger from Aliens. Still cool though.

Anyways, to me it feels like NRS have done justice to the design of my favourite character. I particularly like the detail of the black portions of his outfit, reminiscent of an exoskeleton (again, like that of an actual Scorpion). The chain for his spear move is also an awesome improvement IMO. Great job, NRS. MK9 Scorpion is everything a hell-spawned ninja spectre should be. I just hope that when he removes that mask, his flaming skull is more badass than ever and not a disappointment.
 
You cant think about everything logically like that lol. Sometimes presentation is a bigger factor than storyline, especially if you want to attract fans with characters. You wouldnt wanna see a bland ass scorpion with today's technology, would you?
 
I hope Scorpion has an alternate costume where he has no human skin, just a skeleton or inferno skeleton. Or at least some bone armor.
 
I think he should have a Hanzo Hisahi Costume as one of his alt.
