Say YES/NO to MK characters coming back

YES for human Smoke. He is a great character and if any of the fallen heroes could come back, Smoke is the one.

NO for Cyber Smoke. I just prefer human Smoke.

Cyber Smoke is Purple.

Deep Purple has an album called Machine Head. Cyber Smoke has a Machine for a Head. The most famous song on that album (and by that band, for that matter) is called Smoke on the Water.

Purple = Deep Purple
Cyber = Machine Head
Smoke = Smoke on the Water

Bring Smoke back. Human, cyborg, I don't even care. He was like my second or third favorite character in MK9. I'd love to see what NRS could do with his variations in MKX.

Yes to Smoke. He was in very nice mechanics on MK9, he is a good character.

But I will always prefer Cyber Smoke.

Specially because for him to cease existing, they created the Sub-Zero abomination.

To tell you the truth, it really didn't come to me until a discussion about Rain's reference to Prince, and thought, "gee, Rain would be a much cooler character if he were a purple ninja named after Deep Purple, because Deep Purple is better than Prince", and then thought, "wait a minute, Cyber Smoke is purple...purple...smoke...how are they connected? Ah HAH! SMOKE ON THE WATER BY DEEP PURPLE! I think I'm onto something here..."

With a Vote of 13-11, Smoke gets a YES!.

Out of all the "YES" Voters, Human Smoke got a 9-3 Vote, Cyber Smoke got a 4-8 vote. Therefore, HUMAN SMOKE is preferred.

SONYA BLADE

YES to Sonya, she survived MK9, she needs to be in this game.
 
Yup, Sonya is a must have.

And she doesn't play IN ANY WAY similar to cassie. Cassie has no kiss or rings or cartwheel or leg grab so people who complain about this can go eat a hot dog.
With their ass.
 
Yes to Sonya. MK9 was the first game that made enjoy her. That and the story still needs her.
 
YES to Sonya.

Cassie has none of her iconic moves, and plays more like Stryker in the Spec Ops variation, so YES.
Plus, I'm pretty sure that a stork didn't just drop Cassie off, and Sonya and Johnny apparently had a big influence on their daughter, given that 2 variations are named as a nod to them.
Ed also said that we would see aged variations for returning MK characters, and that Cassie could do Fatalities on her relatives.
Sonya and Johnny have been hinted at being in so many times by Ed Boon, the German GamePro and Steve Beran, that they are pretty much confirmed for MKX.
 
NO to Sonya i would prefer Tanya or Skarlet over her, her daughter is more than enough i don't need a whole family.

I know Sonya has a pivotal role especially now and will most likely play a major role in the story. But thats all i hope she gets. I don't see the need in Sonya being playable in the game with Cassie on the roster.
