I f#ck!ng hate quan chi!!!!!!!! ye that was in mk9 now I freaking love this character, are u kidding me? this trailer was amazing!!! I was just thinking about the endless combos possibility u can do with him, the way u can controll the arena its crazy, he looks op though but I dont care, now I cant wait what other characters would look like, that means ermac it gonna look preety badass too, man I wanna see what they've done with mileena and skarlet

On the contrary his inclusion pretty much strengthens shinnok's chances.
The usage of portals can be done it different ways, not to mention shinnok doesn't even need portals apart from the skeletal hands fatality.

Shinnok is still likely in the game. Either he is going to be playable or a unplayable sub boss.
