All these Rain-jokes on twitter made by Mr.Troll himself are getting annoying!

I mean a few jokes ok, but the punishing of Rain fans continues on and on...

Last tweet about Rainy day and about something with booze and Bo Rai Cho... Not to mention all the old shit Rain's been pulled through, or not rain, more his fans.

Look he's not my favorite character, but this guy would be AMAZING in the storyline which goes about power and being emperor, Rain's entire being is about power!

I really hope that tweet about Rain, Tremor and Smoke was meant to be a hint to the three HIDDEN characters in this game and the tweet about Rain + Bo Rai Cho is more for a new fun TOWER MISSION.

PLEASE! At least i'm happy to see Rain in the comics soon.
 
While I never really loved Rain, I do agree Ed is being a dyck. It's not funny anymore and neither were were the trailers.
 
I'm a Rain fan, and I just think they're funny.
I've come to terms with Rain not being in MKX a looong time ago, so I'm not going to be disappointed if he isn't in the game.
 
People need to stop complaining. He was in MK9 (only because of popular demand), so just be grateful he was in that AT ALL and move on and hope for him in future games.

Probably because none of you know what it is to be grateful. ;) (note the wink, I'm just kidding)

Be grateful that there even is a MKX, and stop nitpicking on the insignificant details such as disliking a fatality or a costume. They can't please everyone! It's pretty pathetic that everyone's focusing on minor sh*t like that, and not appreciating this magnificent game as a whole. Just how I see it.
 
i actually think theres a big chance rain could be in the game. he certainly has some interesting moves that could be fun to evolve with the variation system with water attacks and lightning attacks

i love to see a variation where he blends his water and lightning moves together strategically. like he could have a water projectile that just soaks the opponent... so now theyre wet so if you do a lightning attack they get electrocuted having a fit on the spot giving you time to set up a combo.

he could have a ground lightning move where sends lightning across the ground. and he could have a move where he leaves a puddle on the floor like a trap so when the character moves into the puddle area he could do the ground lightning and electrocute the opponent stunning them giving you time for a combo set up while the opponent is being stunned.

an enhanced roundhouse kick could send the opponent flying with electricity running through them so if they land in the puddle after it they get also stunned, just things like that

but for me that big water bubble move he did always looked gay as fuk in MK9 maybe they can make it look better this time if hes in. i remember in umk3 it looked more like the opponent was being electric shocked which makes more sense since he has lightning and water attacks a combination of the 2 would result in shokker treatment :) i dont think the big bubble is necessary

Did you see my chocolate metaphor? If not, here goes...

Imagine you get a piece of chocolate. It's smooth and dark, just the way you like it.
You ask for another piece, and you are told you will get one later. So you are waiting.
Time goes by, and though you might be a patient person, it starts to get a bit ridiculous.
But then FINALLY you get another piece of chocolate. However, it is different.
This piece is milk chocolate and with nuts. And you don't like nuts. You might even be allergic to it.
So of course you complain. This was not the piece of chocolate you wanted.
And then the response that gets thrown in your face is "Just be grateful you get another piece of chocolate!"

... No! That's not how this world works. We aren't starving children in Africa, we can afford to state our mind and be choosy. We shouldn't just be grateful with whatever is thrown our way if it isn't what we want! That's like if I punched you in the face, break your nose, and then says "Just be grateful I didn't kill you."...

OH! Then it's alright that it's just a punch, and I should even be grateful about it, because oh my gosh, it could be worse! /sarcasm

If that is how you live your life, not wanting things to be better for yourself, but just takes whatever comes your way without questioning... then that is pretty pathetic.

Cute metaphor, really captures the essence of the whole 'ungrateful' theme we have going on here. The whole thing I'm trying to say is that you get what you're given. What you want is really pretty irrelevant. I've realized that, as should you. I chuckled at your comparison of a video game dilemma to real-life physical assault or death, pretty sad really.

I'm quite happy with how I live my life, I'm grateful for what I have and what I am given, and I am in no position to complain or whine about first-world problems like an aspect of a video game that displeases you, neither are you. Of course there are some things I don't like, but they're outweighed by the great things I've seen.

Now, try not to be so pessimistic & absorbed in what you want, and remember there are people out there that can't even afford this game, so stop complaining. Or, you can have a Tarkatan Trash styled rant about your rights as a consumer and all that crap, in which I will reply by simply telling you if you don't like the game, don't buy it. Simple, isn't it? :)

Pretty much MKX in a nutshell for me (no pun intended).
 
I don't think Ed Boon and NRS cares about Rain. It took 10 years for Rain to appear in another game after MKT. If Ed Boon liked him more then he would have appear in more Post-MK3 games. He was not even on the main roster in MK9 and was DLC due to fan demand.
 
I want Tanya, is it okay if I start a thread complaining because I don't get what I want/can't get my way like everyone else seems to be doing? I didn't realize this was elementary school. This is the real world, nobody gives two shits what you want. Go cry to Ed Boon, maybe he'll listen. :hello:

He was in, uh, MK: Armageddon. Awful game, but he was in.

As for being grateful or whatever, seriously, this is a videogame. Insisting on calling out people for not being grateful is just as annoying as those who are excessively ungrateful. I mean no offense. I just think that the discussion above in itself is unnecessary and won't go anywhere. People are entitled to their opinion.

But did I demand for it to be changed? Did I continue complaining about it? I stated my opinion on her face, I didn't go any further than that. An opinion and a complaint are fairly different, this was merely a negative opinion in regards to a character model. Besides, they fixed it and I couldn't care less if they did or not, it wouldn't really bother me because there's already 2 variations with a mask.

I appreciate how desperate you are, searching forums and all in order to construct some form of decent argument or witty response, you know it really is quite cute, I'm flattered. But your efforts are meaningless because your idea of complaining and mine are two different things.

fans complained that the 3D games suck and the 2D ones were better, NRS took note and went back to 2D giving the fans what they wanted,

fans complained about the character models in MK9, NRS listened and built better models.

if we didnt say anything the females would still look like men and all the men would still all be body builders and theyd still be fighting on an awkward 3D plain
fans complained, NRS took note and did something about it.

its our b!tching and complaining that has the game where it is today. if fans dont speak their mind how on earth are NRS going to know whats working and whats not.
sure they may be minor details but its all the minor details that lead to the bigger picture and fans just want the best game possible theres nothing wrong with that.
 
There's a difference between an individual and their irrelevant opinion and a huge group of people who share the same opinion, know that. :)

Ah, so you just like to point out bad things instead of wanting them to be improved upon. Sounds like whining to me. At least there are other people on here who give constructive criticism and suggestions to how things could turn out for the better.

And you're right, you and I have very different views on this matter. And I'm grateful for that. ;)

No, it isn't a bad thing. My opinion of it does not make it bad, that's why it's an opinion.

Apparently you're putting more words into my mouth, stating I didn't want it to change? The thing is I did, but I knew (because I have a brain and an IQ above 10) that me complaining about it and asking for it to be changed wasn't going to magically make her have a new face. I'm smart enough not to waste time doing such things because I've completely accepted the fact that an individual & their silly little opinion is not going to cause some massive change, especially in regards to an extremely popular video game with millions of fans. The face changed without me saying anything, but that's because of a popular opinion that NRS took note of.

Likewise, if we all had the same views and opinions the world would be a terribly boring place, wouldn't it? ;)
