Rain Jokes On Twitter

My guess is that Rain may feature on the comic but not on the game, except perhaps as a Tremor-like appearance on a Tower challenge. Certainly not playable or on the story mode, neither as an a NPC there. NRS appears to have difficulties getting their "Edenian traitors" into their games, guess they think it would be an overflow of evil characters.
 
Rain is in the latest comic and plays as an important part to Mileena's forces winning over Kotal's in the battle that occurs in said comic, however, he doesn't appear to be shown in the comic, simply mentioned.

Look he's not my favorite character, but this guy would be AMAZING in the storyline which goes about power and being emperor, Rain's entire being is about power!

I really hope that tweet about Rain, Tremor and Smoke was meant to be a hint to the three HIDDEN characters in this game and the tweet about Rain + Bo Rai Cho is more for a new fun TOWER MISSION.

PLEASE! At least i'm happy to see Rain in the comics soon.

I think it is incredibly funny that the Open which complains about Rain being dissed, is the same guy which is obsessed with dissing Sonia Blade. Hipocricy never looks good.
 
Its so funny that you go hatin on me for hating Sonya, but never care what Boon jokes about rain.

You my not-so-friend are biased!

Anyway, Sonya deserves the hate she is getting, fur being such a uncreative, bland and boring character.

Rain on the other hand (if you cut away the ninja-thingie) has many potentional and the weather-controlling powers of storm.

That's not Sonya's fault. It's the writers' fault. Sonya is a fictional character, nothing she does or says can be blamed on her as she has no control over it. Those who are writing her story are to blame.

Agreed.
However, I don't find any fault in anybody. I don't find nothing bad about her.
 
I like how a lot of topics are now of Sonya. I guess when it comes to her, we should ignore everything and everyone and just focus about her.

Don't know why someone who absolutely despises something feels the need to keep blasting it around. I mean, if I don't care for something, I'm not gonna keep talking about it because then I'm just going to keep giving it its spotlight. Thus, more and more who are a fan of it, will continue to grow and support. It's damn annoying but of course, kindness gets ignored and hypocritical bias overrules.

I guess, if we continue talking about Sonya, poor ole' Rain will get pushed to the sidelines, again. I don't care for Rain, not as much as Darrius, but he's not a character I want to see so badly. If he's in, he's in, if not oh well. But based on how careless some can be, the creator of this character, who based Rain on his own taste in music, I guess also hates him?

That doesn't make a whole lot of goddamn sense.

I like Rain, I always have, but he's not my favorite, despite what my avatar might make you think. What I do like however is his potential and moveset. I hope NRS takes really advantage of the potential his character has either in MKX or the next game.

ALL your post comes to personal taste. You find her boring. I think she is bad ass and awesome. I will never diss Rain the way you diss Sonya. Or call myself BoRaing. As Kitty said, if someone bores me I ignore and deal with the interesting parts. SUCH as Sonya or Johnny or Kung.

But I guess if crying in the internet works for you, be my guest. Just do not expect me to rally with against the same behaviour you show yourself. My tolerance can only go so far.

It's called mental illness. I'm positive Sonya Bland suffers from NPD.

So hoping that this is enough for Rain be in the game.

This design is 100 times better than his MK9 design and even much more styleful than his MKA design! I love the purple amethyst/sugilites in his design too!

I couldn't wait for his behavior if you select him on the select screen, probably very arrogant and vain.

If he's lucky and in the game I hope they get rid of that stupid water ray and just give him the water bubble of control ranged attack.

Also there is one big thing wrong with this full roster thought:

Goro won't be playable in all versions of the game, so probably his spot goes to Rain, and there will be an extra spot for Goro once he's bought. If not, then I really hope people got Shinnok or Liu Kang wrong instead :-p

Which is EXACTLY what I've been telling people for MONTHS. If Ed Boon hated Rain, then why was he made a reference (in name, color, and role in the game) to one of his favorite albums?

As for being crazy, "crazy" is when your mom thinks you're on drugs when all you wanted was a Pepsi.

You along with Goddess aren't crazy Kitty_55. As for Rain, he's in the story mode and that's fine with me.
