Rain DLC Dated for July 19th in new Gameplay Trailer

As expected, the Rain gameplay trailer is now <a href="http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/action/mortal-kombat/video/6323167/mortal-kombat--rain-official-trailer">released over at GameSpot</a>. The trailer also reveals his release date of next Tuesday, <b>July 19th</b>. Check out Rain's new moves and awesome water effects in the gameplay trailer below.

I've been excited for Rain since E3 2010.
It's just a damn shame that it took THIS long to finally get him in.

Get ready for the flood of "Ooh, Rain is my new favorite character" bandwagoners. LOL

I've been waiting so long for Rain!! I'm so happy he'll finally join the game. He should have been in it from the start but I'm happy he'll be playable soon.
 
What's gonna suck is not being able to use him online, because people don't download the compatibility pack...

I can already hear the 'he's my new main'! crowd running toward this thread salavating, only to abandon Rain two weeks after release.

I'm over the bloody moon that he has his UMK3 moveset back!

I could care less about using him online.
As long as he's part or MK 9, and the Trilogy roster is complete, I'm happier than a pig in shit.
 
ok, so rain is straight up badass. His moves, a little silly, look like they will be really fun to use, especially the pacman physics punching he can do. I also like the x-ray
 
I'm so happy with Rain! :) Now MK Trilogy is complete! Aside from looking cool, he got his moveset from the old game! I was hoping for the lighting, that orb thingy and his roundhouse kick! Yay! <3
 
About time! The roundhouse kick is in, the control bubble too. I haven't been this excited for a character since Kabal's reveal half an year ago. And his win pose, look at his hands, just like old Rain. I also wonder if that's his enhanced lightning or the regular one. I guess we'll see next week. Awesome.
