It would be fitting for Skarlet to wear more revealing clothes, because she has to absorb her opponent's spilled blood through her skin. Also, Kahn probably wants her and Mileena to dress slutty, because if they have a male enemy that Kahn needs to get rid off, Skarlet and Mileena would prove useful not just because they are assassins, but because their more revealing outfits would be distracting/tempting for male rivals. All Shokan, male or female, are basically naked, so why should Sheeva be any different? Sindel, Kitana and Jade are different from Earthrealmers; they don't have the same customs, rules for women, or societies in Edenia, so they don't really need to wear as much clothing as they would in Earthrealm.

about Sonya, though, especially her primary. She should not be dressing like that being a Lieuteant in the U.S. Special Forces.

And have you seen Tanya's cameo in Kahn's Coliseum, or her Deception outfit?

Probably. Wasn't Kenshi trailer released a week after Skarlet? If so, expect it Tuesday.

My best guess for DLC would be Reiko or Fujin given cameos and the Fujin announcer leak. I would hope for Tremor or someone new, but that's probably not going to happen.

Yeah, Kenshi's 1st trailer was released the Monday after Skarlet was released. Skarlet's 1st trailer was also released on a Monday.

I agree with you on Skarlet since she absorbs blood through her skin so it makes sense for her and I guess Shao Kahn would use them to distract their male enemies. I guess Edenia does have different beliefs than Earthrealm, so they would dress different.

Still though, NRS could make them seem attractive without being too revealing. Some times I think NRS team is too horny lol, especially when they were saying the Challenge Tower reward was going to be liked a lot by the MK fans.

I have seen Tanya's outfit but they'll probably make it more revealing. Just look at the MK2 outfits compare to MK 2011.

These are just my two cents, besides there still all fun to play with.

I wouldn't be surprised if they save Tanya, Reiko, Fujin, and Shinnok for the next MK game. MK10 is probably going to be an altered version of MK4 so it will make sense to save them for the next game, since they made their first appearance on MK4.

They could make Tanya look more like she did in MK4. And yeah, I agree, the Challenge Tower prize was a facepalm moment. Hopefully they will learn from the mistake in MK10.

I don't really care how much clothes they wear (none of them have any ass anyway, except maybe Sindel lol), I just want the females to have fun gameplay, unique personalities, and interesting stories, just like the males.

Ill bet Rain will basically be like a Scorpion with water powers, Short combos, Easy to spam and a gay teleport or unblockable move.
Thats my guess of how NRS will make him...

Regardless of sexual preference, I agree with you that some of the females (MAINLY Sindel, Jade and Mileena) could have been better thought up of as far as costume design.
I personally LIKE the T & A in MK, but I could see how others would see it as a bit much.


OT:
Once Rain comes out, I'll be happy as hell.
I still think that they should've included Rain in MK 9, and made Cyber Sub-Zero a DLC character with a good side-story.

I was hoping for Motaro as the challenge tower reward, oh well maybe next time.

As long as they make the females fun to play with, their clothing won't distract me too much. Although I wish the DLC characters would get alternate outfits because I like mixing it up every once in a while. Also Ed Boon did confirm on his twitter that the DLC characters would have alternate outfits, I hope he wasn't lying again, and they'll release them later.

don't worry, both are legit candidates for DLC. we'll probably get to see cyber Smoke anyway at some point. I just hope it's a new character with a different moveset and not an alternate look for human Smoke and edited moves to make them all.. cyborg-y instead of "human attacks"

I agree with this, they skip Rain (and also Chameleon) like he never exist in MK. It would be good if they swap a model or even a Baraka fight with him in the story mode after the release.

Agree with this.Shao Kahn was designed to be the ultimate alpha male.do you think he would be hanging out with librarians?!

@ricochet matt you could have just said you were gay,but you felt the need to throw in the "cause i have taste" as if to insinuate that if others like the female costumes that they are tasteless.that sir,was a tasteless comment ;)
