I think Smoke's primary is cool with the hair but I like his alternate better. I'd like to see a demon form smoke where he has cloud's of smoke pouring out of him and his hair is going crazy would be a cool effect
 
i love smoke, all costumes are great but his main they should put his hair forward and more animeish like in his ending, the sorta make him like Raiden from MGS

Anyways, I'm pretty stoked for Monday, can't wait to see some Rain gameplay.
 
Yeah lol, yes she did but I dropped outta school when she tried to explane what a Golden Egg Friendship was you can't believe how bored I am right now, and boredom breeds random creativity no matter how stupid it is lol. Forgot my MK disc at bro's house and he's gone for a week, that in combination with insomnia and a weekendly dose of alcohol gets you there AND I'm also psyched about Rain, have you noticed ? :)
 
human Smoke managed to tear apart his fans who craved for him to get a chance to shine :P I agree with Fox about him having a hood in his primary too but after seeing him in action I do like his primary as well (his select screen image remains quite disgusting). tbh, before Rain's render came out there were some theories, since the image in the article of the mag wasn't so clear, that he didn't have a hood but short curly hair or something.. that would probably ruin it for me in Rain's case. I'd welcome the hair exactly as it was in MKA though, I think that ponytail fit him well. also, about Reptile, they made a wrong decision to give him THAT alt costume. he's been changed on and on so many times in the games and I do like his primary but I'd prefer a kickass human alt for him rather than an alt that's basically his primary with armor and a bit darker shades of green around. retro's not doing it for me, I'd be really happy if they gave him the human alt as he looked in MK: Conquest , the series. idk, it was simple, classic ninja mk-style and the mask was great.

also.. IT'S SUNDAY! iiiit's sunday sunday, gonna get down on sunday lalalal :D no wait, screw that, metal ftw \m/ :P seriously hyped for Rain's gameplay tomorrow, hoping for his lightning strike (different than nightwolf's) and his lightning fatality back :D I know many say Raiden should stick to this but come on, his name is Rain, rain and lightning are bound. few more hours left to find out :D
 
For those who are concerned that Rain might be another Sheeva (a character sabotaged by NRS), have no fear, NRS knows how much Rain is anticipated:

Well, I got a feeling Rain is gonna be badass, just like Skarlet and Kenshi and actually the rest of the roster. I can only think of 3 chars I don't like but that's mostly an outfit/moveset based decision.

Quick question also. Did they eve confirm that all the Kostumes released in the DLC packs would be classic costumes? Perhaps we would get Kenshi and Skarlets alternates with a DLC character?

Going from the info that was put up on the Xbox Dashboard, the costumes will all be classics.

It wouldnt make to get Skarlet and Kenshi alts with a DLC character because this:

Classics skins are to encouarge people to download the compablity pack, if someones is downloading the pack is because he didnt buy Rain, and if he didnt is very probable that he didnt buy Skarlet and Kenshi either, so what reason does he have to download the compability pack, if the only freebies are costumes for characeters you dont have? Do you get my point?

Anyway its already confirmed they are classics.
 
I'm guessing his x-ray will involve him making a fountain or water explode from underneath his opponent and make them fly towards him (like when you get hit with Reptile's ball thing). Then when the opponent is close, his first x-ray move will be his Super Roundhouse Kick, making his opponent fly across the screen and re-appear on the other side (just like the original, maybe view will zoom out a bit), and then when it comes close again, he gives a brutal punch to the stomach or to the chest, which then pushes the enemy away giving distance after the x-ray is done. And connecting hit can be like Sheeva's x-ray, opponent must be standing on the ground in order for the water splash to connect.

Thoughts? =)
