It's not exactly the same, but it's safe to say the new has taken some designs from the old.
 
He looks and battles Fantastic! I can't wait to play as him and start electrocuting on some fools. I'm ready! Are You? Because if you battle me online YOU are going DOWN!
 
I think his X-Ray could be a bit more destructive and creative than that (He's a God, after all!)
His look is cool. Simple, bright and clean. A form that a god would've chosen for himself I guess.
Also, like as many others mentioned on this thread - These vignettes were made quite some time ago.
So I'm looking for to see him in actual gameplay very soon (hopefully at PAX).

I can't wait for April 19th. The Big Trouble in Little China entrance is an awesome touch. As for the teleport, I always loved, and still do, the "white phase" that was always a trademark of Raiden's, but I always thought it telegraphed the move a little too much. I'm thinking this teleport is being a little more stealthy/opponent disorienting. Whenever he teleports, there's a little disortion and lingering static in the air before and after.

Of course, if this vignette is from a previous build, it might not be implemented fully yet.
