PS3 or XBOX360 - Why chose one over the other?

gears of war has the WORST story in gaming history. it should be called "bros of war." i beat the first one then played part 2 and couldnt get past the awful voice acting. makes resident evil 1 on psone look like oscar material. even destructoid called the story intolerable. the ps3 just has so much to offer everyone and every genre for gamers
 
you have horrible taste shira. you contradict yourself gears is linear and not open. but your ripping on god of war? lol yeah. god of war has more creativity in the first level than gears can muster in the entire trilogy. i have never met anyone who can telll me what the story and outcome is in gears. all they do is jump online and never touch the single player. nice try but do your homework before voicing your opinion. the things on my list are all fact. you cant dispute fact little one. like i said, you love shooters/fps great, get 360. but pure artistic creative quality, you need ps3. theres this thing in gaming called voice acting, plot and solid deep writing. gears is not it. try uncharted for some of the best acting and plot available.
 
I hate console wars....

I grew up playing Gamecube, PS1, Xbox. Out of them I liked the Gamecube and Xbox.

PS3 and Xbox is shit compared to Gamecube

1. It's not a "fact" that PS3 has "better games", that's just an opinion

2. There's also these things called "who gives a shit about story and writing in video games" or "Don't come at a random dude expressing your "oh-so-holy" opinion and sounding like an ass while you doin' it"

3. Sorry to sound so blunt, but you about to piss me off with all this shit, lil dawg. I can sit up here and tell you all day that ****ing Viva Pinata is a more compelling game than Uncharted 2 and give you plenty of my own reasons to back that up, does that mean it's actually a better or more fun game? Nah son, just respecting other peep's 'pinions is the way to go

lol I just made fun of console fanboys in the last page, now look whats going on.

I really cant grasp the idea of people stronly favoring one over the other, and disliking another console. I just cant. Maybe it worked back on the older consoles, but we've reached a point where it really is starting to not matter as much anymore. Well for me at least for me.
 
I could care less about console wars, to be honest.
Anytime I hear anyone say XBOX sucks PS3 is better and vice versa, I just shake my head.
They are basically the same, just different functions for each one.

I can see how someone could really like one more than the other.
But to hate the other one?

Unless a console snuck into your house at night and skull f*cked you in your sleep, there is no reason to hate it.

Dude the people you met have to be the biggest multiplayer whores out.

ALL my friends who have Gears have played and LOVED the story and then came back a second time to play on insane. The Gears story is fantastic. You must be playing a different game because I don't see how the main characters father being captured by the locust queen and held hostile to create a machine that was supposedly made to kill all the lamb....you know what. I'm not going to even go on.

I'm no fanboy of 360 but saying Gears is uncreative? That's insane. The Gears voice acting is awesome. Why do you think the characters are so damn loved? Have you SEEN THE POPULARITY BEHIND COLE?! Gears has even books because the plot is so indepth. You must not be paying attention.

You beat God of War. Good job. Now what do you do? Beat it again. Alright now what? Beat it again? That's your only option. LINEAR.'

Gears 3 has:
Story
Coop
Beast
Multiplayer
Horde
DLC
AND events to keep multiplayer going.

I'm still having as much fun in Gears as I did the first day I got it. The game is very creative and the plot is VERY well thought out. I've always felt for the characters and you really start to love them and care about their stories.

Might want to play the game again or take the blindfold and earplugs off.
