Did I not just see a senior producer clearly state a fact? That tag team would not allow players to team up over a connection but instead only allow 2 people on 1 console vs. another 2?

If you don't believe that I really don't know what to tell you boss.
 
Anyone who lets this change their opinion about buying the game is a jackass. I'm sorry but you are. This game has so much crap in it to keep us busy for a looong time. They said they didnt want to put anything in until is was ready and polished. Maybe they tried it and noticed alot of lag in it and will put it in after the game launches as a free download. Ppl are just mad and talking BS anyway. They will still buy this game cuz it looks epic in every other way..lol

Actually this was a Key feature many people were looking forward to and some casual fans may not want it as much now, which is understandable

Actually my friend was incredibly pissed when I had to break this news to him. This was a feature we had been talking and glorifying for MONTHS! Once we heard tag teams battles were possible we just dreamed about how amazing it will be to team up with each other. Being a unstoppable team. Like pretty much everyday we'd at least acknowledge it, but oh well.

Looks like none of that is ever happening.
 
Gosh that is rather disappointing to hear. Wish they would of let everyone know that a bit sooner. Like others I'm sure, I don't have a lot of friends that are even interested in fighting games let alone good at MK that come over too often. I see myself less inclined to get really good at tag-team mode because of this.

Oh well, cant have it all I suppose.
 
I think that It will still be reasonably popular mind, if you are playing a mate over at your place and decide to go co-op for a bit and see who else is doing the same... I wonder if it would support 4 microphones so while your not playing you can concentrate on slagging the other team off lol..... Oh hit the mute switch
 
my guess would definitely be because of lag. o,well. I'm lucky enough to have friends in the real world (but this is the real world) and hopefully will be moving in with one soon. I am going to train my friends that are bad at the game. I will not stop until i am the best
 
Do u mean 1vs1 TagTeam-mode? Yes it's possible. At least I believe so, because there are allrdy tourneys for it ;)
 
2 Players tag-team online, in diferent consoles, and .... if one of them has a crap connection speed, can affect a lot the gameplay .....

I don't know, I have impression that tag-team 2-vs-2 is limited only to combined combos, but, if you see like MVC3, the characters do combined special attacks, maybe this feature could be used here in MK 2011, like an exclusive special attack only in this mode, dragging down all the full 3 level bar when doing it .....
 
NOOOOOO. That was one of the biggest things I was looking forward to. Teaming up with distant friends and random people and whooping other random people. v_v Oh well, at least 4 players is still possible.
 
Hmm that's too bad. I was really hoping for 4 player online. Had a few friends who would of liked it. Wonder if they had it in mind, but there might have been a bandwith issue.
