but if the opponent goes 2,4,r1, and i manage crouchblock the string, but they just click r1(or smash it as my mate does) once more and walah they've grabbed me.. no way around it. so i have to guess for a low high or grab! thats a 33.333333% chance....all the while avoiding the low second hit...
most versatile string in the game.
btw, always wondered why 2,4,spin only worked occassionally...

ANY character can mix up a grab at any point out of any string they choose to cancel out of....
Jade can do 3,4, Grab... high low, grab..
She can also do... 3,4, EX DB2. high, low, overhead.
Or 3,4 dash cancel into other mix ups.
Just like lui kang can dash cancel before his medium hit, and start another low string to catch your high block. or he could dash in grab. 33%
Jade's leads into combos(except the grab). Kung lao's will just... hit you low get you stuck in more pressure. Or overhead(1hit), Grab(1hit).
oh the possibilities.
lol... I was just pointing out most people avoid that 2,4,spin mix up. After enough time, a pro could stance change on command in free time and keep up the correct posture if they really wanted to. But MK is probably like a few years behind from people worrying about something like that.
Pro's start worrying about that stuff when they have nothing else to figure out lol. So while we wait for the game to be broken down even more by hundreds of thousands of people. (I see new stuff on MK every other day.) I'd say no one has to worry about that one as much.
