I've been hearing this alot....is this true that the main character in Konquest will be named "Bob"?

thats just what they call him now, because they havent decided on his name yet. I really doubt mortal kombat would name a character bob..heh
 
sigh... please read closely to things. Bob is the temporary name for that guy until a later date. No i doubt that that will be the real name, its gonna be something like, well i dunno im not japenese/chinese. Anycase i hope this answers your question.
 
Cmon did you actually believe that? It'll definately be some Asian name or something. I mean the MK team may be sometimes desperate in getting a name (Noob Saibot), but they would never have the main character named Bob
 
I posted this time and time again, yes, they call him bob but his name isn't decided. and yes, he is the main character in konquest, look these things up please. somebody lock this.
 
Isn't there 2? One good and one evil... I read that somewhere, but can't remember where now.
 
if there were 2 konquest modes 1 good and 1 evil who would u want them to be

i would say

lui kang or maybe raiden because i like to keep it old school for good

and shao khan for evil so u get to see how he rules

If Shujinko means Protagonist.. what could "Bob" be refered to as? Hmm..

what are some words similar to protagonist besides "good guy"
 
This is a pointless thread. His name was Bob at first just so they don't refer him as 'The Konquest dude'. Then his name changed to Hero, as you can see in the fatality demonstration Here (Video with Ed Boon on the front).

Hero is not a final name, it is just better than Bob. no one knows his final name yet, Midway probably hasn't decided yet.
 
And that's why we're trying to think of what would BE a good name. Hey who's to say Midway won't use one of our suggestions? The devs work in mysterious ways...
 
He's got a point. After all, Chuck Norris's name is Chuck. That's as bad as Bob, but are YOU going to take it up with Chuck Norris? No. Why? Because he's Chuck frickin' Norris!
 
The will chose something that means good or evil in a different lanuage lol. Yea i have heard in many games that they refer to them as heros or whatever. (they used it in God Of War) But i think it wil be a name that no one understands
 
I think having a character named "Bob" in MK would be awesome. It would be one of those names that would remain shrouded in mystery and leave everyone baffled. Eventually we'd have topics like "OMG I just figured something out... 'Bob' spelled backwards is... 'BOB'! What do you think it means?!"

Bob won't be his final name, I know that for a 100% fact. They changed his name to Hero. I'm guessing it will probably change to his final name at/before E3.

Deathcore that was hellarious :o ! Anyway it could be Halen, considering it is the word for yang, light, good, etc.
That was the word Shoalin Monks used to refer to their temple.
