I agree with you J,it's just silly and really immature to get bent out of shape about it,it will come peeps just wait and you'll get your hands on the demo soon.

My only gripe is, I read somewhere that the demo is going to be available to PSN+ members until it is available to regular members. So does that mean after a week the demo automatically gets erased or disabled? I'll try to find the article.

No, I have had a demo on PlayStation plus before it hit regular PSN members, and it does not get erased. Demo's don't have expiration dates anyways, beta's might. Hope this helps.

Im so glad that the demo supports 3D as well...cant wait to see what it looks like in 3D. I never thought I would ever pay for the Gold or Plus subscriptions on Live or PSN because I dont play online (I just like getting the demos/videos of upcoming games and the DLC add-on stuff), but when I heard that my all-time favorite game demo was coming out a week before it was free...I plunked down my $18 bucks for Plus in a heartbeat!! There would be no way I could handle other fans telling us how awesome the game is for a whole week before I could play it! Thank you to NRS for letting us get the demo 1 1/2 months before the release...it will ease the wait somewhat. Only 2 more days, people, then its fighting time!!

As someone who only owns an xbox (not a fanboy, just never got around to buying a ps3) I'm disappointed that I'm not gonna play the demo until the game is so close to the actual release but what can ya do. I'm probably gonna get flamed for this but I want to play as kratos too lol I love GoW

I never was a fan of GoW, but I'm excited to see a character such as Kratos in Mortal Kombat. I just hope he has no play in story mode.

can we play online too in the demo? sorta like fight night champion were itwas offline and online

There isn't an online mode for the demo. Would be kinda cool if there was though, but I'm not complaining :)

I have a ? When the demo comes out, will anyone be uploading gameplay footage exactly when it's out?
 
Anyone not going to play the MK9 Demo?

Once I heard of the MK9 demo I was really physched! I was really excited to play the game, but I thought to myself. "Do I want to kinda ruin the game by playing it early and when it isn't finished?"

I know that there are a bunch of kharacters,modes and extras the demo will not have. But don't you think you'll be kinda ruining all the excitement you have built up for the games release?

Your thoughts?

i just want the game i don't have the will power to not play the demo. plus its not the story, the story for me is the only thing i don't want to hear about until im playing the game because for me thats one of the only things i really want to be surprized with.

How is playing the demo ruining the game? If anything, it will get you more excited about the full release and if the demo sucks, you know to hold on to that $60+ or just rent the game.

lol the only thing ruining it for me is the fact its not Tuesday yet. I think I will work from home that day. ;)

:canabis::smokin::stoned:I myself cannot wait the additional week to get the free download, I am going to try and download the coolest free PSN+ demo's I can within the next month though because once the game comes out I'm only going to be playing that online.

The new roster screen looks great and it really shows that there are a lot of spaces left for other character's such as Kabal (I Pray), Smoke and Sheeva.

I'm the type of person that when a game, or film; is coming out that I'm really am excited about I can't stop thinking about it so I'm hoping this demo will help easy my suffering.

I can't wait to see the trailer at the end of the ladder.

Scorpion and Sub-Zero are two of my favortie characters and I have really started liking Johnny Cage since I've been replaying MKII, I would have like to see Ermac in the demo.

Edit: One lasting, does anyone know when the PSN+ Store updates on Tuesday?

The way I see it....Subscribing to PSN+ for three months to play a demo of a video game that's going to be free to EVERYONE a week later is strictly for the most die-hard fans. I could have waited until the 15th and not paid the $18 bucks but I honestly wouldn't be able to take it KNOWING there's a demo for this game, others are playing it and I'm not. It would drive me crazy.

I've been waiting to play this game long before PAX and now that we are actually given the opportunity, i'm going to take full advantage. They could have two characters, fatalities disabled and one stage available and I'd still be equally excited.

I'm obsessed with this franchise and feel no regret for subscribing to PSN+ for $18 just to play this early. After April 19th, I'll probably never touch my PS 3 ever again.

Bring on Tuesday!

I am the same way - never had psn+ but i spent the 18 dollars for it because of this demo.

I tried to make myself not buy it, but im like you, i CANT i have to have it on the 8th knowing that it is available and that is that, its beyond my control - lol

I agree ! I would not be able to stand it one moment.
PLUS you get some other cool stuff in the next 3 months with your PS+ like socom beta.

The SOCOM 4 Multiplayer Beta will roll out in four separate phases. It'll begin with a small, private group and then expand weekly from there until it's freely available to everyone! Here's the schedule for each of the beta's rollout phases:

On March 15th, a private beta goes live. We’ll be contacting eligible players soon.
Beginning March 22nd, PlayStation Plus members will gain access to the beta.
On March 29th, anyone with a beta code included with Killzone 3 gains entry.
Starting April 5th, the beta will be freely downloadable to anyone via PlayStation Network.

I've heard in interviews that's he's in multiplayer modes only.
