Kenshi is a very solid fighter. His sword adds more reach to his attacks which makes him more effective from a distance. His Tele fury attack is a very good move because it actually is good close and from across the screen. From what it looks like, it has armor if you ex the move as well. So it is effective as a anti-air move and as a counter against certain moves. His Telekinetic Slash is a great overhead attack for anybody that is ducking and blocking at the same time. You can do it from close to medium and far. His blade reflect shoots projectiles back just as fast as there coming at you and the move is quick. If you do the blade reflect move at the wrong time it does not keep you open for punishment for to long. His X Ray works is one of the strongest X Ray so far. It acts like a projectile and can be used from close and across the screen. It is very quick as well.
His combos are powerful as well. Here is one I found and I am sure there will be better ones coming soon.

Works in corner as well.
