What if they released Jarek as DLC? I got some ideas for him
He would have all of the moves he used in mk 4 and Armageddon and they would have enhanced version as well for his x-ray move he could throw a tri blade at the opponent which would slash there chest to stun them and then he would grab them with his lasso and pull them towards him and slam them on the ground on the other side breaking there back and spine and then he pulls them to there feet unties them and then uses his upper cannonball to break there jaw and skull sending them flying.
1st fatality he throws his lasso in the air and it would attach itself to the ceiling even if there is no ceiling or something on the ceiling like a hook and then climb up and pull himself up and then throw the other end of the rope at the opponent and it would wrap around here neck and then he pulls them up haning them by there neck causing them to choke he then pulls hard ripping there head off causing there headless body to fall to the ground with a hard thud killing them instantly or he pulls twice the first yank breaks there neck and an x-ray animation occurs and then the second pull takes there head off.
2nd fatality he throws four tri-blades at the opponent which cuts off there hands and feet and they land and balance on the foot stubs and then he throws a fifth one which cuts & slices through there neck decapitating them and killing them instantly.
3rd fatality this is a DLC classic costume fatality and Jarek uses his heart rip or eye laser fatalities from mk 4 at random sometimes he will even combine the heart rip with the eye laser.

New Characters
Okay, here it goes : I was on the plane recently and found myself thinking about my sweet MK at home... and inspiration came and I made these 2 characters, I thought they were cool, but maybe it was just altitude and those tiny bottles of vodka they give, I don't know!
PS : if anyone like these character and is good with drawing, I would love to see them realized!
First one : BORRAK
Appearance : Imagine a slender and shorter version of a Tigrar Shokan (Kintaro's race), but still bulkier and taller than the base skeleton of MK characters. Add tarkatan blades on his four arms, a Tarkatan mouth, and a light armor (roman centurion style) with skull helmet.
Biography : Borrak is the child of a Tarkatan female raped by a Shokan during one of Shao Kahn's raids (yeah, I know, who would rape a Tarkatan but hey, the guy has four arms and a cat face, he's not Brad Pitt either). Being really of neither race, during his childhood, he had difficulties adapting (no sh**!), but his abilities and his cruelty would allow him to become on of the most proeminent generals in Shao Kahn's army.
Entrance : Standing tall on the stage, arms crossed, back turned to his opponent. He turns a little toward his opponent and has a sick smile. He says : "A challenger? ... Good : I was hungry!"
Specials :
- Head Butt : a little thrust forward with a big hit with the head (we need more headbutts in this game)
(enhanced) HeadButt'n'Nuts : after his headbutt, he lands a knee hit in the nuts (ouch!)
-Blade Roll : a roll throughout the entire screen with the blades sticking out
(enhanced) Roller Blade : the same, but in mid-air and only for half of the screen
-Blade Parry : a parry for hits (not projectiles) where he would turn around his opponent, cutting him with his blades
(enhanced) Blade Dislike : after cutting his opponent during his parry, he would kick away his opp. in the back
-Blade Toss : throws two small blades from the holes in his arms
(enhanced) Machine-Blade : throws 8 small blades rapidly
-Blade Prayer : he would face the screen and look up, extending his four arms with blades out, and would move the blades to make like an aura around him, if the opp. jumps on it or gets close, he will be cut down
(enhanced) Blade Hunger : the same, but if mthe opp. is caught in the blades, he is impaled on it and Borrak takes a bit out of his throat
- Power Uperkick : planting his blades in the ground, he would perform a power uperkick (upercut with his feet)
(enhanced) Space Launch : the same, but the opp. would fly off-screen
X-Ray :
- first a teleport stomp (unblockable) to begin with
- as the opp. is lying on the floor, another stomp to break his ribcage and skull
- then another stomp, but this time landing on his blades to perfore vital organs
- the opp. impaled on his blades, he throws him to the far side of the screen
Fatality #1 :
- a single blade thrust to the chest, the opponent's heart would be impaled on the blade sticking out from his back
- a vertical thrust to cut the upperbody of his opp. (but the head would still be whole)
- another blade thrust in the head, therefore leaving the opp. standing but with half of his upperbody dangling
- Borrak begins to eat the head still impaled on his blade
Fatality #2 :
- a spin move blades out ("à la Baraka"), cutting his opp. in tiny pieces, but leaving the head intact
- while the pieces fall down, a kick in the head, throwing it vertically off-screen
- he catches the head with his mouth and then bit a big chump off it, letting the rest of the head slowly gliding on his chin and his body, leaving a gory trail.
Hope you liked it, the second one very very soon...

All MK characters, no matter how crappy they seem to be have a chance for redemption. The possiblities for redeeming a character are endless. The sooner people realise this, the better.

NERFO NADD (anagram for "Dan Forden", I know, inspiration was gone and we were landing!)
Appearance : Ok this one is weird because he's composed of two characters :
1- a corpse in a rusty armor, standing still
2- a ghost in the same armor, but looking brand new
The gameplay would be like that : the ghost is the one you control and attack with, the corpse is the one who's going to be it. The corpse does only one thing : he gets up if he's knock down. To allow the opponent to block the attack of the ghost if he's between the ghost and the corpse, the "change stance" button would make the opponent face either the ghost or the corpse. I think it's an interesting gampeplay, and at least very different from the rest.
Biography : Once a great general in the edenian army, he was killed by Shao Kahn himself while defending the royal palace. But the amulet Queen Sindel gave him allowed him to stay undead and to seak vengeance.
Entrance : Appears walking as a glowing edenian general, then the ghost continues to walk as the corpse stays behind, all the while saying "Even Death itself couldn't hold me!" (yeah, cheesy, but it's MK!)
Specials :
-Teleport : 2 choices, in front or behind the opp.
(enhanced) Multi-Teleport : he would clone himself and teleport in front AND behind the opponent at the same time, staying that way for 1 second
-Aetheral Passing : he would pass through the opp, making him confused
(enhanced) Aetheral Chill : the same, but with some health-draining
-Haunted : he would go inside and posses the opp. for 1 second, and each time you push an attack button, the opp. would hit himself
(enhanced) Possession : the same, but you can make the opp. perform an X-Ray against himself if your X-bar has 2 left (if you do that, a ghost of the opp. appears in front of him and performs the X-Ray)
-Disappearance : partial invisibility when moving, total if immobile
(enhanced) Vanishing : total invisibility (even when moving)
-Secret Ghost : a parry move that would cause a ghost to come out of the corpse if it were hit, and would hit away the opp. with an uppercut
(enhanced) Secret Specter : the same, but the ghost inside the corpse would hit the opp. twice beforem the uppercut
-Fright : would force the opp. to face the way opposed to the ghost, thus making him open to attacks
(enhanced) Terror : the same + a/ (if online) blackening of the opponent's screen for 1 sec; b/ (if offline) invisibility for the Ghost and opp. confused for 2 secs
X-Ray :
- begins with a grab
- then the Ghost gets in the opponent where he breaks his ribcage from the inside
- then he goes up inside his body towards his head, breaks his skull and then comes out from his eyes, litteraly blowing them out
Fatality #1 :
- the Ghost would get inside the opp. and begin drying him out
- at the same time, the original corpse would crumble to dust
- when the opp. is totally dryed out, the Ghost would come out with the appearance of the opp.
Fatality #2 :
- the Ghost would touch the chest of the opp., therefore frightening him and making him go crazy
- the opp. would start screaming and ripping the skin and flesh off his face
- then he would puck his eyes out and eat them
- finally he would suddenly run toward the screen and begin bashing his head against the screen ad vitam

I like the idea although I don't think he needs to exit through the eyes for the X-Ray. Other than that, it's great.

And about the eyes... well, he has to come out from somewhere!!! I thought about the mouth, but seeing the eyes blowing up or even melting down seemed more gory...

How about new Victory poses?
After i watched some victory poses i thought why not making more, all poses fits the characters, so...why don't bring more. It would be a nice feature. More interacting with the camera (fans).
I have already a few examples.
Every Lin Kuei member (Cyber Sub-Zero, Sub-Zero, Smoke, Cyrax and Sektor) has the Lin Kuei Quote "be stealthful at the night....and deadly as the dawn". They also do the typical pose.
Baraka: "Chings" with his blades one time a talks into the camera, "i will bring you to my emperor...... in pieces". He then rams his blades into the camera mans body, after that, he lets him drop from his blades, the camera lays on the side and blood is flowing infront of the cam, Baraka is posing.
Jade: Stands at her staff, swings her butt for 2 seconds, then turns around, laughs at the camera and says "keep dreaming, I am too expensive for you", she looks arrogant (go the **** away face), she then grabs on the cam glass (so you see only her hand) and leaves the screen to the side, leaving her staff standing alone in the wastelands.
Jade Nbr 2: Jade is dancing (slowly sliding) with her back up and down on her staff, stops, goes to the cam, talks angry into the cam "you still don't get it? don't you?" (a allusion to the other pose), she turns around and says "well, no one can blame you....pause", she bends slowly over (off course you will look on her *** ;-) ), then she continues her phrase "except for me" and BAM, she rams her staff into the camera mans groins, the camera "shakes" and "you" will drop to the ground.
Kabal: Runs across the screen, appears right infront of the camera and says "did you see that, i think a flash couln't be faster", a little "hit" against "Flash" from the DC Universe.
Kano: He takes out one of his knives and cleans it on his shirt and says "wanna smile glasgow style", a tribute to the Kano actor from the MK 1 movie, "from ear to ear".
Kitana good: Takes her mask away and kisses the camera, a red shimmer from her lipsteak is seen on the cameras glass, she then says "you should know that my kisses can be deadly, sometimes", she smiles and goes away.
Kitana evil: Goes to the camera man, "i will make my father the emperor proud", she then cuts the head off with one of her fans, the camera falls to the ground.
Liu Kang: He does his MK 1 Win pose and says "The essence of Mortal Kombat is not about death, but life", a qoute from Christopher Lambert (played Raiden in MK1 Movie and said it on Shang Tsungs boat).
Mileena: She does a "hip swing" pose like in her "she is going away" scene, while she does that, she takes away her mask and says" I am going away", with the same "soft voice", turns around (goes away from the camera) she starts screaming and throws a sai into the camera, camera drops down, then we hear her crazy laugh.
Mileena Nbr. 2: She says "you look so lonely, come on lets have a little fun", the cam goes up and down on her body, when the cam goes up again and shows Mileenas face, she has revealed her teeth and attacks the camera man, the screen turns dark and a scream from the man can be heared.
Scorpion: Shoots his spear into the cam guy and says "get over here", he then takes his mask off and screams " i will avenge my fallen....".
Stryker: Takes out his gun, instead of shooting into the air, he smiles, aiming the camera and shots through the glass. The camera man falls down, the camera lays on his left/right side, you see the camera mans foot and blood flows on the ground.
Stryker: Pulls out a grenade, give it to the camera guy and and removes the trigger pin and says "don't let it drop, you only have 2 seconds.", "why i do that?", " i am still 10 steps under my deserved pay grade". "I come back in a few hours after my lunch break", the guy looks at the grenade and the camera in shaking (which is understandable).
Quan Chi: Chi looks into the cam "You earthrealm boy don't deserve to serve me in the Netherrealm", he then turns around, makes his evil laugh and dissapears in his portal.
Quan Chi Nbr. 2: "I will create a better "throne" for me, with your bones", he then dissapears, the camera guy shows into the air, Quan Chi comes with a teleport stomp and crushes the cam, the lights go out.
Shang Tsung: Talks to the camera and says "your soul will be mine", he starts to steal "your" soul, the screen gets darker and darker, then you only hear a body "drop" and Tsung laughs.
Please let me hear what you think, i hope to hear a few ideas from you.

Kano: He takes out one of his knives and cleans it on his shirt and says "wanna smile glasgow style", a tribute to the Kano actor from the MK 1 movie, "from ear to ear".
Kitana good: Takes her mask away and kisses the camera, a red shimmer from her lipsteak is seen on the cameras glass, she then says "you should know that my kisses can be deadly, sometimes", she smiles and goes away.
Kitana evil: Goes to the camera man, "i will make my father the emperor proud", she then cuts the head off with one of her fans, the camera falls to the ground.
Liu Kang: He does his MK 1 Win pose and says "The essence of Mortal Kombat is not about death, but life", a qoute from Christopher Lambert (played Raiden in MK1 Movie and said it on Shang Tsungs boat).
Mileena: She does a "hip swing" pose like in her "she is going away" scene, while she does that, she takes away her mask and says" I am going away", with the same "soft voice", turns around (goes away from the camera) she starts screaming and throws a sai into the camera, camera drops down, then we hear her crazy laugh.
Mileena Nbr. 2: She says "you look so lonely, come on lets have a little fun", the cam goes up and down on her body, when the cam goes up again and shows Mileenas face, she has revealed her teeth and attacks the camera man, the screen turns dark and a scream from the man can be heared.
Scorpion: Shoots his spear into the cam guy and says "get over here", he then takes his mask off and screams " i will avenge my fallen....".
Stryker: Takes out his gun, instead of shooting into the air, he smiles, aiming the camera and shots through the glass. The camera man falls down, the camera lays on his left/right side, you see the camera mans foot and blood flows on the ground.
Stryker: Pulls out a grenade, give it to the camera guy and and removes the trigger pin and says "don't let it drop, you only have 2 seconds.", "why i do that?", " i am still 10 steps under my deserved pay grade". "I come back in a few hours after my lunch break", the guy looks at the grenade and the camera in shaking (which is understandable).
Quan Chi: Chi looks into the cam "You earthrealm boy don't deserve to serve me in the Netherrealm", he then turns around, makes his evil laugh and dissapears in his portal.
Quan Chi Nbr. 2: "I will create a better "throne" for me, with your bones", he then dissapears, the camera guy shows into the air, Quan Chi comes with a teleport stomp and crushes the cam, the lights go out.
Shang Tsung: Talks to the camera and says "your soul will be mine", he starts to steal "your" soul, the screen gets darker and darker, then you only hear a body "drop" and Tsung laughs.
