Oddities.

im new to the forums/site... im new to MK sort of. ive played them but never cared till now. ive found some oddities. 1) do a babality on AI opponent in the desert. it lags for some weird reason.
babalities appear to be not allowed online for some reason.
why for the love of god did they not include brutalities?
noob and reptile need to be nerfed just a tad? they are powerhouses.
let the screaming and yelling begin.

About your commets, i kinda feel i've seen every one ob another thread, except the babality thing online. As im a ps3 player i cant try it :(
 
ty. yep... no blocking works. cant do a babality against someone very experienced though... lol. thanks for the welcoming. fought secret reptile... was about to lose, even on beginner lol... (the secret fights are predetermined skill levels i believe)so i flip to character select see if i get a second chance... i pick my fighter and it brings me back to the moon/pit stage against the original fighter (was kung lao) but still says 'you have found a secret battle' and kung lao proceeded to kick my ass as if i had the game on hard... so he basically gained the level that secret reptile is. strange.
 
Reptile is tough to master and a lot of his moves can be easily punished. I see no need to nerf him. If anything Noob needs a nerf. He has no real draw backs.
 
as already mentioned, you have to win the final round without blocking (only the final/winning round) to do a babality. I have done a few online.

just be cheap as hell against reptile and noob. I've gotten flawless on both simply by spamming Stryker's pistol in rapid succession. They always pop right up when they go to the ground. your bullets are already in the air, they don't have time to perform a move

hows it going i just joined myself after 2 weeks of lurking. But honestly Reptile isnt hard to master at all its about figuring out your opponents next move and what move to execute (you being Rep). He has become my main, and I enjoy his speed and tactics,now NOOB and SMOKE need to be tuned-down imo

*tip- make your self invisible and watch your opponent panic and stop the blockingdisease*
 
Have you guys done the Secret Fights more than once?
I tried to do Noob Saibot's fight again the other night (with Noob in the Temple stage), without blocking for both rounds, and I didn't get to fight him.

Are these Secret Fights a 1 time only thing?

Also, can you do Reptile's stipulation in 2-player mode, or is it only in arcade ladder?
 
^havent tried it in 2 player mode, it took me an hour a few days ago to do on 1p ladder as the others. Was hoping to unlock him but just the secret fight :lol:
 
ive fought noob 0/2 smoke 1/1 and reptile 0/1 and its very disappointing that you dont at least get their retro costume... or at least dont give the acheivment or trophy until you beat them... i see where they went with this game. they really wanted to bring back some of the original winning formulas.. but they really left out a lot. i just feel it could have been better... and no brutalities... come on, those were the best! but i must say that the game itself is worthy of the price but in an overall sense weve been shortchanged.
