I still don't get why people don't complain about the guys. They have less clothing than the girls, yet no one cares.

I think if you get offended by a nice body of the oppisite sex, you have issues.

I guess I agree. Although the funniest damn thing just happened, I bought the Mileena SP edition of MK:D for Xbox new. (Oh yeah) And I actually found Mileena attractive. Gods no!

Yeah but theres only one area on a man that has sensitive issues linked to it and two on a woman... One of the issues on a woman turns on men. The vast majority of the MK players have to be male.

what in Rayden's name are you talking about? Thats pure nonsense! I see no man (besides the shokans) with barely any clothes on. oh, and besides Shao Kahn. thats just disturbing. but now most female characters are wearing skimpy clothes. anyways, all im gonna conclude with is that i disagree with Immortal Reaver.

I don't see the big deal. Look around you. Sex sells. Scantily clad women are everywhere. I personally think it's nasty and degrading but that's what makes people pay attention.
 
i dont think its degrating to pologonal women...lol Sure sex sells, but i dont think people buy MK for the sexyness, they buy it for the goar, blood, and ripping of human flesh!!!! YEAH!!! damn, i need to chill. So what are we really discussing? Just how they always have half naked women? I dont think they have to be, but its always nice.
 
Haha no no, I didn't mean fake women, I mean real women in general. All the celebrities and even people in the neighbourhood walking down the street with their chests hanging out. That's nasty.

In this day and age though you have no choice really but to get used to it, especially in the gaming world. Pretty much every female character is half naked.

but i agree, i hate when i see some nice talented girl become famous, and then a month later she is half naked in Maxim or FHM magazine. Sad sad world.
 
Lol. They dress the girl characters up like this to appeal to players.

They don't appeal to me at all. Female characters like Chun Li appeal to me because they dress sexy but they aren't all hanging out. She is one of the most popular female characters and she proves that you don't have to be naked to get people to pay attention.

Before you say anything, I'm not one of those feminists, I actually hate them ^_^ I just hate that they focus more on making the female characters half naked rather than making them good fighters or have a good storyline. That doesn't go for all of them but for most of them in my opinion.
 
Actually, if you go and peek at the female characters in MK, less them half of them are "popping out" out their clothing.

MK1: 0 - 1 in boobage (in fact, it was a horrid green leotard!)
MK2: 0 - 3 in boobage (they wore a one piece that had a turtleneck)
UMK3: 1 - 6 in boobage (the only thing other than a scant amount of cleavage was done in clay...)
MK4/Gold: 0 - 4 in boobage (they got a lot bigger! but still more covered than showing)
MKDA: 2 - 5 (Nitara and Li Mei, the others were mostly cloth covered about the naughty bits)
MKD: 3 - 7 (Jade, as sexy as she is, was completely covered except for her arms, stomach and legs. Mileena, well, that was a good view there ;). Sindel definately wasn't setting a good example for the impressionable princess... Li Mei was falling out yet again. Ashrah looked like a school marm as prim and proper as she was dressed. Tanys had a bodice that only showed a smidge of cleavage and Kira had a bodice that wasn't all that revealing, at least not of the flesh)

So there you have it, MK is not a game that seems to be geared to showing off all of the naughty bits us naughty boys want to see. That title I think is held much more firmly by DOA.
 
i have to agree, Chun Li was one of my favorites, but it wasnt her boobs that were attractive, it was those damn sexy legs!!!! Plus when you did a backwards jump and pause it at the right moment, "ass shot" hey i was a teen then. I had to, its the law.
 
I dont understand why all the women in MK have to be fit and slender. Can't we have a fat woman....like a female Bo' Rai Cho? :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
