Nudety in MK

Well if you look at Jade and Sindel... Jade wears:

She isn't wearing much less then what she used to and her alternative has MORE clothing (well a little bit more).

And the same with Sindel:

And Kira... She doesn't have that much flesh showing, same with Sonya and Ashrah. Tanya isn't really half naked, she has a lot of flesh showing but not much really. Really the only truely half naked character is Mileena. They must show off her body to make up for the fact she is butt ugly under that mouth piece.

Lmao, I agree with you man. I mean Mortal Kombat is one of the most violent games ever, it was even featured on the news once talking about all the heavy violence in it. But instead your concerned about women in the game who have shirts that you can see a little bit of there boobs? Really strange, you got a lot to learn dude...
 
Midway's just trying to appeal to the more mature audiences is all. They think that if the female characters have as little clothing as possible, the mature audience will buy it. I'm not going against what you're saying, but then again I'm not siding with you either. Just making a statement.
 
I think Mileena is hot, Tarkatan mouth or not. and near-nudity aint a problem, guys will just try to re-label it Mortal-Ho's. and the game will get a higher ESRB rating. Not good.
 
Seriously. Who cares? If you're a dude, you shouldn't have to care. Nudity should not be a big deal, I can see if you are a female and you get offended by the " Sexual " content, but that rarely happens. This thread is stupid. :roll:

I've never come across a female player who was offended by them. To be honest a lot of the MK style of outfits aren't much better then some of Marvels or DC comics Superheroes or Villians. You don't notice them in those series because usually they play small part characters or are not as in your face. But they are there. If I new every single Female superhero from those universes, I'd give examples. :?
 
I'm kinda half and half on this one. Yeah, the new installments ( breast jiggle ), is kinda making itself look like its ripping off other fighting games. ( *cough - Dead or Alive - cough* ). But it kinda adds realism. Soo.. HHmmmm....
 
MK should know better, it aint a superhero comic, its a fighting game that has never relied on sex appeal to get its audience and it shouldn't start now by going down to DOA's level. :evil:

MK has always had sex appeal, it's nothing new. For Jebus' sake, Sonya was played by a frigging Playboy centerfold in MK3, and just look at the costumes they've always got Kitana and Mileena in. The series has never relied on sex apeal, but it never will either. They're not stooping to DOA's level because bouncing breasts and sex appeal are DOA's gimmick, whereas Mortal Kombat's gimmick always has been and always will be the excessive blood and gore.
 
alright up untill now i havnt bothered but now im getting involved in this pointless but interesting debait. Personally i never notice the whole "nudity" thing but when i think about it angel was right technically since mortal kombat is based around real martial arts they are going to think rasionally. You think of a woman trying to fight in a dress. She would trip and fall everywhere and would just embarrass herself. I guess fighting for women does involve a lot of nudity but where its concerned for a males point of view he is after the girl that kicks ass, not a girl whos boobs bounce round and crotch shows when she does high kicks. Im not trying to say im gay there and im not questioning anybody elses sexuality but whcking off over a game... isnt that a bit sick? Thats like beating off over hentai and thats sick for a start becuase anime isnt real so to fancy a cartoon character you will end up with metal disabilities.

MK has never had hardly any sexual themes. (all games have me no matter how small they may seem)

I would like to see Kitana wear a big dress trying to fight and fall over it won't work.
