NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I'd just leave it on and go buy another memory card. Luckily I have an Xbox and don't have to deal with that puny memory card crap.

The problem wth the X-Box verison is that it's glitch city. Gamecube version is not so bad at all.

I have like a 200 mb memory card for my Gamecube, I barely lose any of my data.

Luckily for me, I copied my file on to two memory cards.

Jinko: What kind of Memory card was it? One of those Mad Catz or Nuby crap ones?

Doesn't the case say "copying prohibited" or something, or is that just for Deadly Alliance?

i believe that is only for MK:DA. a butt load of bull shit imo. but yeah, i only use products from the system creator: ex. only sony memory cards and controllers. and yes i was quite amazed with all the space on XBOX when i first got it, but what can i say, its a freaking harddrive.

to avoid that problem in the future, having back-ups on other memory cards as Robot Commander implied, is an extremely good idea. even though i play my PS2 very little these days, i rarely save without doubling it up.

it was those black normal mc and it was working in the morning. i was playing MK:da in the morning and then when i went to my friends house, my mc stuffed or wont load.

Well you must of either taken your memory card out or turn off the game at the wrong time. That happen to me before when I was playing Tony Hawk's Underground 2 but luckily I had another file. That's why I prefer Xbox because it can save it in the hardware itself and only need a memory card for extra space and travel. If you have a PS2 or Gamecube Jinko, I suggest you get an extra memory card and not one of the ones I said before because I had one for my Gamecube and it erased everything on it.

The same thing happened with my Pokemon Colosseum, when I had only 1 memory card. So, I decided to delete all the other games. It was very sad, then I lost it because I accidently threw it somewhere on my couch. My sister helped me find it. I found it first. Later on the year, I bought another memory card. It was the black one. I think it saves up to 251 memory. And now, I bought Animal Crossing, it said that you get a free memory card. I was surprised. So, I might think I'm gonna rent or buy (if I have the money to buy) Mortal Kombat Deception and see what happens. So, Jinkomaster, do what he says (only if you want to) and you'll live a happy life with pretty rainbows...i mean cool cars and stuff that us boys like (maybe some of us are boys but whatever).

yeah, for some strange reason, one day a lot of my files on a regular PS2 sony memory card just showed up being "Corrupted Files". if i remember correctly, i think they were my Yu Yu Hakusho: Dark Tournament files and my .hack part I files. i really dont know what happened. luckily u hadnt played them but a day, and quickly retrieved all the lost info. still, it left me intrigued, and a little worried that it would happen again.

the message that says "saving, do not remove memory card, reset, or shut off console" is really important. I remember once my power went out as I was saving my game in MGS2 (right before I had to fight all of the Metal Gears) and it corrupted my file and I had to start all over. Maybe something simialr happened to you.

Also I only use the official PS2 Memory Cards, I dont know if it means anything but other than the above problem Ive never had any problems with it.

but seein as it took me 2 evenings to complete mgs2 that wouldnt have bothered me, but after a month n a half finishing san andreas and it hapenning to me, that made me mad. i still havent finished it again yet
