New RealmMedia Networks Forum a little.. uhm?

wait so how is it that i have more rep points than InfernoScorpion when he had more karma than I? wait, is it because of my post count or something?

i just noticed another bug: i made a quoted response and it sed i needed 10 more characters and that the post was too short. then i hit 'back' and 'forward' and hit 'preview post' and it didnt come up.

Shouldn't the Block on the left side be more of a Breaking News block instead of an affiliation block? Since it's a SuperForum or whatever you call it, it could have news for things on RealmMedia. For example, instead of doing just Mortal Kombat, it could have news on the Wii, Gears of War, Hardware, etc.

Or at least a little block with the "Member of the Day" or something. Since the new forum is going to take a little getting used to, I think that more user-interaction is key in the success of the RealmMedia forums.
 
What does the "+" symbol next to Foots name mean, if anything?

Sorry about the slowness today everyone, but it seems to have been fixed now. Not sure what the problem is right now, but we're looking into it.

Also I've added a new "Black and Gold" theme for testing. Give it a shot and tell me what you all think, I think you all will find it very "familar" I hope. The top logo has to be replaced and the ads are not quite right yet but I like it a lot better than the current default.
 
Si Senior, this is a nice tryout for a kind of throw back look. It's not exactly the same, of course, but i'm gonna try it out for today... I've kind of become accustomed to the Blue one. This Black and Gold one will give it a serious run for my money though :-P.

One thing I have to ask though. To get to this site, I still go to www.trmk.org , but whenever I got to it, it has the exact same thing as TRMK before the change. Nothing has changed since the change on that screen. I don't know if that's how its supposed to be, if its just me, or if its something your working on, but it bugs me :-\
 
yeah, Black and Gold looks the best so far. Even better would be Black and Orange-Red so it matches the rest of my computers theme :P

Still getting used to the new site, but it looks like it's coming along okay. I'm still teetering on whether I like it or not atm though.

TRMK is not changing. As I've said many times The Realm of Mortal Kombat is not going anywhere, just the forums are changing.

Unless you meant the forum posts item at the top, well that's not working right now but it will be fixed shortly.

Ah, sorry Pat, I worded that wrong. I meant since the change of server. Also, I was wrong partly on the not changing. I hadn't noticed the News Post under the forum post thing. Though, thank you for clearing up the part where I wasn't entirely wrong ;-P
 
Ah, the black and gold is much better. That definitely makes me feel a bit more at home now.
 
yeah I agree gold and black is preety cool and I was thinking that in the console gaming section you should have 4 subsections (Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, Other) It could work out better
