Hold your horses. Just because Ed said he was going to reveal a new character doesn't mean he was being entirely truthful. Have you seen his twitter posts? Not very reliable. I doubt this character will play any real part in the game.

And Tanya isn't very high on the list for DLC apparently, just to let you know.

I find it hilarious that people are jumping the gun and saying it's definitely Skarlet.

When choosing between Kira and a character that doesn't exist, you guys chose the more logical one didn't you.

But... it looks nothing like Kira. And someone posted a video of what Kira looked like last time we saw her, and she looks nothing like whoever the hell this is.

Unless they dedicated time to develop an insignificant background character's design. And that's pushing it.

Well it is no doubt the same design as the teaser image. Kira's background render has already been compared to that image, and proven as a different design. I would say it's just a random background character if not for that tease. She may not be called Skarlett, but it's logical people would call her by that name for now. And it's perfectly reasonable that a rumored character will be made real, once again.

I have 3 main thoughts on thsi video:

1) That *does* sound like Stryker at the beginning. The setting and situation match up, besides it sounds like him from the audio leaks....
2) Did anyone even notice Sonya's enhanced Sonic Rings over the excitement caused by this red female? She shoots a 2nd low one, but it looks totally... please mind the word... retarded
3) I think the red female ninja IS skarlette- again, it all matches up- Kira was simply there as a placeholder, her color scheme resembles this woman's so the team was probably thinking that at a casual glance ppl would assume it was KIra (i know I didnt immediately notice it wasnt her). Shaun Himmerick said they were going to include characters that were only rumors before (i.e. SKARLETTE) and her boot matches the one on the teaser Ed showed months ago.

@Ricochet-- her design looks bland i believe because of lack of texture- i remember seeing Kitana chained up at PAX and her clothes looked slightly different/less dynamic than her actual character model's... so that might be the case
