New Characters for MK10

How about NO guest characters?

If I wanted to play a fighting game filled with guest characters, I'd just play PlayStation Allstars Battle Royale.

I just want NRS to focus on MK characters that are deserving of the roster spot for that era, rather than wasting their time on a character who shouldn't be there, to begin with.
In NO F***ING UNIVERSE should Kratos have even taken a roster spot over Rain, on the main roster.
Rain was part of the MK1 thru UMK3 universe, whereas Kratos was not.
I hope this whole guest character shit fad just dies.

Sorry to sound like I'm ranting on you, I'm not.
I'm just sick and tired of the "What about ___________ as a guest character?" statement (in general).
Kratos and Freddy were the gateway drug to this whole guest character bullshit in Mortal Kombat.

If NRS does feel like they HAVE to shove guest characters down people's throats, then, at the very least, I hope that they're ONLY DLC (like Freddy in MK9 and Scorpion in Injustice) and not on the main roster (like the Greek turd), so that way I can just download the compatibility pack and not have them taking up space that should be reserved for a Mortal Kombat character.
 
Reiko and tanya would be good additions to MKX. kano survived MK9 so there is no need to include jarek, Lui kang is Dead so maybe they will add Kai, but hopefully they take a different approach with him this time around and make him more of a "traditional" white lotus member. Sub-zero is dead so hopefully they find a suitable replacement to him. Like Frost. Raiden will be back as well as sonya and cage. reptile survived so i assume he will return in one form or another. I hope havik make an appearance.

If they decide to add new characters I only hope that they are worthy additions. i would like to see a character that shares "visual" traits with Shujinko's costume, Dairou's costume or Kunglao's DA costume meaning "Kung-fu" inspired. I also wonder what type of atmosphere MKX will have. Will it be a post apocalyptic world? the atmosphere will greatly influence the characters in this game. I wish I had a tablet ,I would draw some concepts that have been running around in my head for awhile. I also hope the moves and fighing styles more closely resemble actual martial arts.

I can see Kano, Jarek, and Tremor as the Black Dragon Clan against Mavado, Hsu Hao, and Daegon as the Red Dragon Clan that'd be nice in MKX.

Here's one character I'd love, the CUSTOM CHARACTER!!! If we have him/her, anyone can made and I want to make the female dominatrix I've had in mind (A.K.A me). I'd also want a chainsaw to come along with that.
 
Not gonna lie I always skip Nasty's posts in this thread.

I already know it's probably some bald guy with a 12 pack, that fights with a whip shaped like a dingdong, in latex.

Nope. all horrible ideas.
 
Guest characters are coming back whether we like it or not.
We saw it in MK9, we saw it in Injustice. With WB behind them, it'd be a waste of an opportunity to not have guests.

The reason I was so against Kratos' inclusion in MK9 was because of how much a douchebag Jaffe was about it. Saying things like how Kratos is going to "pound Kitana and Sonya". Also the special treatment he got when it came to fatalities. Other than those two blunders he fits in extremely well in the MK universe. He's pretty much Scorpion as a Spartan.


And with the launch of the new consoles, this would be a perfect time to add characters like Fulgore for Xbox, Sweet Tooth for PS4 and Kirby Yarn form for WiiU

Rayne (Bloodrayne) and Juliet Starling (Lollipop Chainsaw) for all consoles too. ;)
 
They should have Wind and Cloud from "Storm riders". That movie had TONS of blood and they possess powers like MK characters. Yeah. If they HAVE to add guest characters they should be from Hong-Kong movies.

If you think about it, any character who is violent is a possibility. The two females I've been mentioning, Chuck Norris, Alien, Predator, and etc. Why? BECAUSE THEY PUT FREDDY KREUGER IN THAT'S WHY! He doesn't have a game of his own (except for one that wasn't good). He just came in randomly out of the blue.

Characters that cannot be in the MK Universe are actually most Nintendo characters such as Pokemon.
 
I want damage scaling GONE! There's no reason why every single hit in a combo can't do full damage.

Dumbest thing I've read in awhile. Get hit by Kung Lao or Sektor and then ask yourself if you still want damage to be unscaled
