Hi guys, this is the first time i've been in THIS forum so may you please not laugh at my drawings.

This is a drawing of Sephiroth i have made today. I think it is the best drawing i have ever made. I feel Proud of myself.

Now compare to the Original Picture.

The sword Could have been curvier (is that even a word?) The wing Could have been shorter and the left side of the .......Skirt could have been bigger...but i still like it...Please Rate
 
Not bad at all. And I mean it. 7.5/10

Some advice, try it in pen, it will bring this the whole pen out.

On the sword you needed to use a ruler or something because you lost it a bit.
 
Thanks for the advice. I did use a ruler but when i went over it again i forgot to use the ruler.
 
I went over i again with a black pen (lost my felt tip) and i looks betters now.

I got rid of the wing because it didnt look right to me.

it looks very much like the origanal (did you trace it) if not im sorry and its very good indeed 9/10

well I used Serif and placed one over the over and made the drawing semitransparent... Doesn't look like he did. Things aren't quite perfect enough. He most likely did this for real. :wink:

It looks better in ink. I miss the wing, but thats me. A slightly thicker pen might have been better but don't risk it. 8.5/10

edit:

BTW the body isn't quite long enough... I noticed that when I compared the orginal and your drawing. but thats only a minor thing... Its not too important since its not that much wrong really. Just needed to be longer in the legs a little.

but keep practicing!! you have talent ~_^ make sure you don't lose sight of it kk?

Thanks guys. I really appreciate your comments. And no i did not trace. lol. And Kuraudo Anata, start drawing someday. I started when i was young. I mean really young.
 
I started when I was 2... but the drawings back then... Where far from anything good. XD

Yes its best to start as young as possible. The younger the better to get practice, lot of it. Most peeps don't give it time. In thoery by the time you in your late teens, if you try hard enough you should turn out stuff thats great. Your best drawings years really start when you 16+. Most peeps give up by then because they haven't got it.
 
My mother doesn't like me drawing. But in the future i dont want to be a famous artist or whatever...i just draw for fun. LOL
And Angel...Im only 13... :wink:
 
i think its very good. i can tell the work you did on it. the only thing is the hair sticks out a tad more. but lets not focus on the unimportant things.

Thats a good age to start drawing... Its about the same age I started seriously drawing. (hehee... If I had kept the drawings I did then, I'd show you guys... They were aweful! XD ).
 
thanx Jinkomaster ^_^ I drabble once in a while and they're meh ok but ppl who like draw good shtuff like you wow man it's awesome.... I'll practice more :P
