Motaro, Chameleon, Meat???

Wow. I read most of the great "Raptor debate". I know it was a couple of days ago but I was bored and felt like settling it anyhow.

Honestly, sometimes I feel like I'm one of the only MK fans who still bothers to read the endings. :?

Oh and useless bit 'o trivia; that "battle between the gods" that drove the dinosaurs to Zaterra; that was Raiden and Shinnok's initial throwdown that got Shinnok banished to the Netherrealm. I really dig how otherwise unrelated character's histories sometimes tie into eachother like that.

*Such as if Sub-Zero really met Scorpion during MK3 when MK4 ending proves otherwise. *And the MK4 ending did happen*
 
Off topic, but the line breaks between every sentence is rather annoying to read. You should do line breaks when you change subjects.

Also you seem a bit hostile (and not just towrds that answer), he admitted he was late to it all and that the debate had pretty much ended.
 
^ Nah I put CAPS on most words when I'm pissed, or hostile in a answer. I was just telling him I already admitted it , and I wish for it to drop since, I already admitted it, the discussion is way dead, it brings back up the argument that I do NOT wish to start again.
Anyway Midway has confirmed Motaro, now all we have to wait for is Kh/Chameleon, and Meat.
Although they said every character. Motaro only makes 58/59 altogether, so Chameleon, and Khameleon might be the last two. *There may be even more than that.*

Also sorry for the gap thing. I just do it to not end up with a paragraph SO long it kills anyone to read. Plus when I'm listing stuff I can see what I had last posted, without any confusion.

Where did Midway confirm that Motaro will be in MKA?
 
The game is worth getting just for Motaro alone. I don't really care about C/Khameleon or Meat, but Motaro will be interesting to see in the game and see how he plays.
 
Ya, in case nobody knows. Motaro is definately in. Ed Boon recently stated that Meat is a hidden character. And looking at this and all the stuff people have been riling up on the net, Boon is probly gonna have the two C/Khameleons.

dude all he said was there might be a neat character from mk4. He could be joking really.

But to make this game the game of all games, i think he would add in meat, chameleon and khameleon as hidden fighters just like they are in past games.
 
I'm pretty sure he said Meat, not neat. And he mentioned Meat in another interview, althaugh it was poor quality and I can't remember where i saw it to. Mentioned something about him probly bein super unlockable. I'm hoping that he'll have alternate outfits, a bio, and his own set of moves. What boggles my mind is what he'll have for a weapon and how fatalities will work on him.
 
i really doubt boon would just give out a super unlockable. he said neat, i cant believe people are questioning that.

if meat is in the game i think he will be in the game just as he was in MK4. he wont be his own character with moves, a bio, and a weapon. He will just be a unlockable skin that would go over whoever you choose to fight as. Same with Chameleon and Khameleon. if they are in the game too i believe they will be in the game just like how they were in their respective games. not a new character, but just a skin to go on the ninja type characters. I actually read that Khameleon is a real character, and she has a storyline. but still, if any of those 3 are in the game, they WONT be selectable characters in the game, just cool secret player skins like they were in the past.

Well, when you think about it, who else was a neat character in MK4 that would be hidden in the game. Meat is the only possible hidden Character anyways, unless you think it might be Belokk which I seriously doubt. When they asked him about hidden characters, he said that with 60 characters there's bound to be some hidden ones, so that wouldn't count the 60 that have already been confirmed. So by the looks of things he is in. But I agree with you about the super unlockable thing, he might just turn out to be a skin, but a man can dream, lol. As for K/Chameleon, I think that if they get in the game they wouldn't be just skins. They seem to mean alot to Reptiles storyline and would probably allow the Saurian race to continue for the next generation of MK games. Imagine it, Reptile and Chameleon fighting over a mate, Khameleon. It seems to fit so perfectly.
 
i agree that the only guy he was mentioning could be meat. but lets not go ahead and claim that boon already comfirmed this is an unlockable character. for all we know maybe it is someone in a background, like blaze in MK2 (pit 2 stage) and didnt show up as a character until later. Or maybe they wont include any hidden characters, and that was just a stunt for people to start guessing around.

then again maybe Khameleon will be a "new" character for future games, since she really isnt an official character.
 
Wasn't meat in deception? I believe he was in a cave and gave you some koins. Mk did this with most of the playable kharacters in the game so maybe he has more of an interest in making meat a character than people lead on. IMO, it seemed like when he said with 60 characters there would be some hidden ones, I'm pretty sure he meant playable, I'm not completely sure about it but it seems like a given that when he said hidden characters, they are hidden for a reason, to unlock. As for the Khameleon thing, I think that she will take part in the future games but I think Reptile would have to live to keep their species alive. That or Chameleon makes a return as well.
 
This is my opinion:

Motaro! You're in the franchise as the front assault leader.

Meat! You'll serve us as an training coach and a sparring bag for all fighters.

Chameleon! You're replaced by the one with the "k" known as Khameleon. So get the hell out of the select screen and be the referee of the stages.
 
yeah i was thinking about moster too....

who knows...maybe there will be more then 60 characters and they might change the character selection screen.

I quite liked Monster, and it's a shame he was never fully realised in MKD. He would make a pleasant surprise to the MKA lineup I think.

Monster was originally going to be an alternate costume for Scorpion. It was his rumored "Knight" costume. The developers felt that it didn't fit Scorpion, and that idea was scrapped.

Even if they used Monsters look as another alt for Scorpion, that would also be mad :lol:
