Motaro, Chameleon, Meat???

I wouldn't need to write such long posts, if someone here wasn't so stubborn. :P

I've learned that debating a little kid just isn't worth it.

Everyone says Reptile is a raptor and your rebuttle is that we're all newbs. Wow...
 
Strickly speaking, a lot of peeps here have been MK fans since game 1. I hardly call anyone who has been a fan since MK1 a newb. I'd like to know how long you've been a fan for Pheonix, but lets not go down that line. :wink:

This topic is about the missing character, chameleon, meat and Motaro... Not about Reptile and whether he is or isn't a reptile. To argue about something as small of detail as that is just... Well... Childish.

You are correct. I apologize for assisting in the deviation of the topic.

On topic, Motaro and Khameleo DO have stories. For them to not be in the game would be messed up.

As for Meat, wasn't that really just any character, but with meat and blood? Not really an ACTUAL character?

I bought MK1 the day it came out. LMAO off though at that comment. *BTW I did state before I can't remember everything of MK*

Heck MK is what brought me to the land of fighting games.

Anyway yes like it has been stated before Motaro and Khameleon/Chameleon should be back even if Chameleon doesn't have a story. *KH does*

Motaro only has one problem... He is way too big, and different from the other humanoid type characters. *Reptile, Goro, etc. Fit humanoid *

So it would take time to reprogram to allow fatalitys on him... Or they could just cancel that.

The only problem I see with Meat is he has a small story.... He only appeared during MK4/Shinnok's invasion.

Ch/Khameleon should be back.

Motaro IMHO should be back. Mokap shouldn't *WTF is with this I prefer Meat over him*

Meat again doesn't really have a story...

But they should be.

anyway, i wouldnt care if khameleon or meat doesnt come back, i just want to see motaro one last time before we bring in some new charecters, i wanna see how theyll make him in 3d.
 
^You do know they will be brining characters back as guest appearances/kameos/etc.?

So many old characters will be seen again. And maybe there will be a MK:T3

I know it would be cool for them all to appear, but...

Motaro may be harder to put in due to his size, shape/etc.

Thus it would be hard for him to fit.

Hopefully Midway MAY design him in as a secret character boss without fatalities/etc.

Even that I would be happy about...

BTW, I wonder how long MK:T3 will be. I would laugh if it had 1-- *put the digits*

These arguements are pointless, the storyline has never directly stated his reasons for devolving so (if you can PROVE me wrong with actual quotes from Bios, Endings, or legitimate MK game instruction manuals then please do so). Also, his species is called Raptors popularly, so if you see it referred to that way just take it as that person's choice of name. You can call him anything want, its just nice to have a standard. People can draw their own conclusions as to how Reptile's tongue has frog-like properties even though he is reptilian, not amphibian in nature. It's all speculation, as many many many things are in mortal kombat, no point trying to rationalize it. The way I see it, be satisfied that you know your way is right, and don't try to make others believe you, it's just not necessary.

Back on topic, i would love to see Chamelon and Khameleon, Kia and Jataaka... but i can live without them. But Motaro should be in MKA, he's a classic character... it would be too sad if they can't bring him. as for Meat, he has no story, he's nothing but some bones with blood...I don't think anyone would miss him...
 
^Guy I said your theory made sense. If you don't remember that was I am the chose one who said it couldn't be/couldn't have happened.

Again I was just saying though I am waiting till MK:A till we can truly judge on that. Since as you said it is all spectulations. Thus I could be right, or end up being as such.

But again the chances? Little. Since Midway seems to be lazy on most of the characters' stories. *MK:DA anyone?*

BTW, it has never been stated in anything of him "not devolving" so again it could have happened like you stated before.

Now back to Khameleon and the such:

I don't see Motaro appearing, since of his size, shape, etc. But again like I said if they make him without fatalites, secret character, etc. They should be able to make him before the game's release.

Meat fits since he is a random character sort of on his own.

Cham/Khameleon ould be great if they had their own styles, and didn't transform every few seconds. Then they could have their own story.

dude, i dont follow ur ideas much at all. its not that logical. Meat's just a character skin. Kh/Chameleon are just characters that jump ninja forms. i dont see these guys having a snowball's chance in hell in making it to MKA. and Motaro, well, let's just shut-up about him, since he's just in limbo and we've all been repeating each other about it.

Khameleon had a story and ending. Chameleon didn't if you want I can post a link to it.

It is all about the history/story-lines of MK.

Edit-Meat really was just some monster from Shinnok's invasion that is all.

Also age doesn't matter. Let us see MK1 2006-1991=15 years. Around the age of 1.

Even if I wasn't the person who bought it, my brother did, in which I now own it. Thus it counts as if I had bought it whether or not I did the action of buying.

I've played games since I was very young, my parents have pictures to prove it. *All of them are of me playing LOZ:ALttP*
 
i think motaro will get in the game ed boon and the team always come up with something 2 surprise every1!

By what Midway said/stated...

Motaro will most likely not make it.

The three reasons are:

1)His size model isn't human like the others. *Yes even Goro/Kintoro is part human shaped along with Reptile who is mostly human model*

2)They would have to rework fatalities, and all the moves on how they effect him.

3)They were making it so all bosses could be fatalitied, but they would have to make Motaro either not able to be killed like that or reprogram the whole thing.

BTW Death Traps wouldn't work the same *EDIT*- on Motaro.* *Dark Prison MK:D anyone?*

But I hop Midway does choose to bring him back otherwise I'll be really sad.
 
^No I meant on Motaro. *They won't work for him thanks for showing me that I need to edit that*

See if Motaro was knocked into the Dark Prison death trap how would he go flying in when he has 4 legs, and then be holding his hands out...

His feet and tail screw it up.
