Most ruined character

Generally speaking Sheeva's arms looked too much like the bottom pair were tied to the top with string (I swear at one stage I even spootted string between them!). The bottom pair always mimicked the top pair in everyway. With Goro he could wave both arms freely. I can't remember seeing sheeva's top arms doing something different to her bottom arms regulaurly.

seein as this has elevated into a discussion of shokans, where the hell was kintaro? they seem to have missed out the second story, which is wierd, seein as it was the most popular among fans

yeah, goro looked damn good... except his facial expressions were too robotic. but i suppose there's only so much you can do with a puppet

And his voice, done by voice artist Kevin Michael Richardson, wasn't too shabby, either.

I have to say that the whole damn second movie in general was a ruined character! Every character from the game that sh##ty story line touched destoryed the character and my faith in the whole movie aspect of MK as well. The BASTARDS WHO MADE THIS MOVIE SHOULD GET THEIR @$$ WHIPPED ON SIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rain was wasted he didnt even get to fight all we got to see is him getting hit with a hammer in fire.Nightwolf was also a waste from not even fighting.

Shao Khan was portrayed poorly in the second movie. I thought he was some type of human that some time of head deformity, like in the comics.

I agree, also he seemed to be british, if there was some kind of british
nation in outworld it should've been at least mentioned somewhere in his original bio or something. And your photo needs to be updated.

koRoneR mentioned Reptile and I agree. They should have made Reptile better, but the fight with him and Lui Kang was good. Lui did step on him, giving us a thought that Reptile is dead, but maybe he barely survived to be used in the new MK movies? Anyway, MK:A used most of the characters terribly.

I thought the voice was an uncredited Gregory Paul Martin (at least according to the IMDB)?

Well i came to that conclusion because of how he acted.Everything he said had an accent to it, while it may not have been a british accent persay, his accent is around that area, either English or some other articulate language. :) I just know he had an accent.

I couldn't match it to a brittish one, unless he has no accent. Like many middle class peeps (lower and upper brittish peeps to have more tracable accents).

Kevin Richards was the voice of Goro, Gregory Paul Martin was the actor, Goro wasn't a robot I'm pretty sure.

As for worst done character... You all are forgetting about Raynor Scheine, oh well you all might know him as Shinnok in the second movie? Yeah the guy that gets turned into a bunch of boxes at the end, oh they also say that he is Shao Kahn and Raiden's father... Yeah...

Now, I feel sorry for J.J. Perry... Pour guy had to play Cyrax(Killed in Movie), Scorpion(Given one hell of a dumb ass line), AND Noob Saibot(He came out of a guys stomach just to get beaten up by a girl...)

Speaking of girls, is it not ironic that they spend the whole first movie telling Sonya she needs to rely on friends, and then in the second movie get her double teamed by two ninjas?

The first movie was so well done, it would of been better without Kitana(Talisa Soto), and even better had Sub-Zero and Scorpion not been under Tsung's control, although he did say they were enemies. Raiden was done great although he should of done some competing. They found a great actor in Robin Shou for Liu Kang, and Reptile was done great, made him a secret just like he was in the first Mortal Kombat. I see where they were getting at with Scorpion's spear coming out of his hand, but they could of done that differently. Goro was awesome, Linden Ashby rocked ass as Johnny Cage, and Sonya had a great actor playing here(Bridgette Wilson) Tsung could of been better, made him older(who's the guy from the Karate Kid movies?)

The worst scene however was when all those guys come up from the ground to fight Liu Kang in the first movie, that was ghey.

However Red Williams(Jax) had a great line with "Damn, Sonya, you look good in mud."

I'll admit it, I agreed.

Maybe Goro was done by an actor with a lot of robotic stuff on him...

I know in Teenage Mutant Turtles thats how they did the turtles. The actor wore a mask that expressed their emotions using robotics.
