You guys are really outdoing yourselves. Pretty much the best MUGEN project I have ever seen.
 
TAG Mode will include 3 characters from both sides. For example, like it was in Marvel vs Capcom 3.
We aren't decided yet how lifebars should look.

I don't know if VS renders have been made/decided yet but I thought i'd bring this to everyone's attention. I found this classic remade vs renders and they look great! Maybe they'll be of help?

Those are incredible! I wanna see more Kabal variations though.
 
Maybe make the victim turn to ashes instead? Looks kinda bland/boring in how he just falls down with a regular oh-so-frequent MUGEN sprite recolour...
 
I'd rather have that charred look than just having the victim disintegrate into ashes.
That's the kind of nonsensical cartoonish MK3 stupidity I've always hated.

You're entitled to your opinion, but faced with the choice of making it cartoony or not, I'd personally choose not to.

Have you guys thought about using MK9 models as sprites? I remember extracting a few from MK9PC, applying correct materials, fixing the UV's and applying CAT rigs, wasn't hard to do. I think it's even easier than to edit the original sprites you guys are using.

Plus with them you can create completely new movesets, it's really up to your imagination.
