I have a few questions to the author.



Also, from what I can see, are you using mk1 mk2 ninjas. I take the author has plans to add umk3 ninjas too. Don't you find it strange? let's take subby for example,bi-han,kuai and noob????? in a same game? Is that about some time travel machine? Sounds a little bit confuse for me,that looks more like some kind of compilation.

About mk1 nes fatality,Don't you find strange,multiple bones coming from his heart? I think only blood would be more natural,but that's just an idea.

Don't you find those special effects obsolete? I mean those graphics has almost 30 years old. My suggestion is to add more modern sprites or at least you could think about a simple transparency. I sure about how easy that should be for you.


You refuse to modern sprites,but I saw your kintaro using street fighter sprites ,is that more appropriated for your project? Ok,I understand your preference for old effects.


Do you have any actual mugen screenshots to show? I mean, those look OK, but they look too much like edited shots.

Is there a tournament present in this game? Any details on storyline of characters? Biographies, anything?

More substance please. How many characters, how is the fighting system going to work, is this going to differ from any of the other MK games in terms of gameplay? That sort of thing, so people don't HAVE to register at your forum to find out these details

I don't know if mirroring beginning and end of my post in MKM Unlimited thread is a good idea, because MKTX is very different from that game. MKT had versions of Kano, Raiden, Kung Lao and Jax spanning two games (MK1/MK3 or MK2/MK3), so it's not hard to imagine this concept being implemented to all characters, since it IS in MKT's vein. Trilogy = 3 = Three versions of character wherever possible. About gameplay, again it's not hard to understand that Xtended MKT's gameplay is going to be based on MKT. The whole game's idea is an MK classic, enhanced, with nostalgia factor preserved. Therefore ranting about old effects is not going to work. As for screenshots, they aren't as helpful as videos, and MKTX has enough videos available on their channel. Finally, what forum are you talking about?

Then I'd love to hear your explanation for why Bi-Han is playable in UMK3, and how Goro and Kintaro are playable in the original MKT.

Are your referring to the Johnny Cage fatality? You know, the one where the opponent gets kicked through the CHEST? Chests have bones, as far as I know.

Dude, all the characters have 30 years old sprites already, as you say. There is nothing unnatural about keeping the simplistic appearance from the original MK games. In fact, I could tell from the videos that some effects did use transparency. Asking for them to be more "modern" is an unnecessary thing to ask for.

I might not be involved with the game anyhow, but I can easily tell that replying questions has nothing to do with promoting the object. In fact, I don't recall them being aggressive towards users at all. Whenever there were questions, they simply answered them, and the only time they got fed up with something were with "when's this gonna be released" questions, because those kinds of questions were answered many times before, and not to mention asking for that is a stupid thing to do.

Because you can already easily tell from the videos. If you really want to ask something, you don't have to register at the forum, you could just comment at their videos. It's not hard at all.

Fireboy is still out there whining about any MK mugen game that isn't made by him? What a surprise. Nothing ever satisfies that guy, and if you make fun of him, he'll always get his army of fanboys to attack people. Some tool that guy is.

Sorry I have 3 more questions
1.)When you preform "Edit Your Destiny" mode will you be able to add Endurances to your tower?
2.)If so will you be able to also choose the color of the Endurance picture?
3.)Finally will there be new colors for Endurances pictures not seen in the previous games?

Example of different Endurance colors below....more notably in the last 3 towers?

Hi, Endurances will be included in columns.) Will think about colors, probably will depend on enemy count.
Nicely recolored Endurances on your screenshot.
 
Loving the new Quan Chi & Fujin Icon Portraits, also that fact that you colored in Shao Kahn's picture is plus :D

It seems you guys are giving all the variations of characters from MK1-MKM there own slots so is it possible it will look like the picture below in the finished product.

Nope, because MKM characters will be locked. And MK1/MK2 portraits will be hidden like in MKT.

I personally find it better that way anyway. It's neat to have multiple and well worked variations of a character, but I'd rather see them as alternatives to the character, rather than their own character slots. It just feels more well organized that way.

Although I am a bit curious about the placement for the MKM characters. The roster seems to be the same size as the original MKT, yet there are the new characters from MKM. Where are they going to be placed?
 
I can sort of understand Black Kano, even though I still think he would be a very silly addition (maybe as a secret fight, at most). But seeing Green Raiden is just a Genesis glitch, I doubt there is much relevancy for adding him in here. Maybe if it was a very popular glitch, at least.
