Mortal Kombat Tournament Edition Unboxing Video. *Short*

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Go to :35, pause it, and you TELL ME what the hell the card in the back for the retro ninja costume says.

SON OF A BISH!

So the retro stuff isn't in the krypt. Honestly, I'm not surprised, but my hopes for vintage MK has been dashed against the cold hard rocks of NRS's marketing schemes. Too bad even retro costumes aren't a good enough reason for me to investigate X-Box live. I don't play online. So I guess I don't get the klassic costumes or the vastly superior toasty fatality for Scorpion. ...Stupid ninja swords. I always hated that they started giving Scorpion more weapons than he needs.

Love the box the stick comes in!! Sorta disappointing the game just comes in a regular case. My hopes of getting a steelbook are crushed.

Pretty badass anyway.

Well, it's not like the costumes are THAT important. Besides, I'll probably take some extra money and buy them. No big deal. As long as they aren't overpriced. >:[

No one said that, dude. I wouldn't give up hope. If you pause it when they're showing the box at around 4 seconds you can see that it says :
"ERMAC RETRO NINJA COSTUME :
Exclusive alternate IN-GAME costume for the mysterious ninja, Ermac, inspired by the original character designs."

See how I highlighted In game? I'm pretty sure they'll be in the krypt my friend. :) Enjoy the rest of your day now.

EDIT :

Oh yeah, Screenshot. JUST FOR YEW :3

I am seriously non-plused. Sorry for focusing too much on the retro DLC... the stick isn't important to me. I'm just really butthurt right now.

...I need a hug.

C'mon, people! *grupal hug*

I still have hopes they are on the disc, that picture saying Ermac's costume is DLC is quite old.

Well, I know I'm slightly being unreasonable here, but I just don't think the retro stuff is worth anything. I think they should have had that stuff on the disc. Reason I'm saying this is because they've done that with the klassic costumes before in other titles and now that they have DLC capabilities, they're going to hold BETTER ART hostage because they KNOW that most of us will pay for it. Yes, they can do this, but it's just the principle of the thing.

I think almost everyone here would agree that the toasty fatality is far far better than Scorpion's less imaginative and repetitive second fatality. Thing is, I think they did this on purpose. It just bothers me that I can easily see where they were creating art for art's sake and creating something a little less in order to make us want something a little better later on. It's just so blatantly capitalistic, it feels gross.

Did you completely ignore my post?

Why am I not being commended for my fantastic detective skills? Hrm?

Because I'm too lazy to edit my last post above yours and I had to wait for someone to say something to acknowledge you. But yeah. I see what you did there. I'm gonna have to go take a whole box of chill pills.

Again, retro costumes are on the disc. The code just gives you instant access to them instead of paying for them in the krypt with koins.

Robo-Smoke. What's up with the card about the retro ninja costume being DLC? I know Poodle pretty much explained it. But what's your rationale about that picture?
