Mortal Kombat HD Remix with MUGEN

sektor helmet update

It was very realistic, congratulations.

From the trailer I've noticed Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Donny Yen, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Angela Mao, Jet Li, Tony Jaa and Jim Kelly. And they're adding more upon user request...

I'd love to see Iko Uwais, Yayan Ruhian, Sammo hung, Leroy Green and JeeJa Yanin added in the final product.
That looks neat, just needs more Bolo Yeung.

Still at it!?

I'm learning how to code for the Unreal Engine, since I can't do anything with MK now, forget Mugen. I'll try something new with UE4 instead. One of the developers at Epic, started a Fighting game development project, so that should help. It's like a template they are supposed to use for up coming tutorials. I'm getting little bits to work so far, but It's still very confusing.

I'm just doing coding tutorials every day pretty much.

I didn't see any messages on Skype btw.

Hey Bleed,

Does that mean you are done with this project completely? If so would you please put your .max source files for Cage/Raiden/Scorp/Sub in the drop box. It'll be a great deal of work but I'm thinking Arq can complete the sprites from your base rigging. I'm thinking you'd have to dump to the box.com account since dropbox is running out of file space.

Would really suck to lose your talent here if you don't plan to come back to it. Thanks for all of your hard work and for giving us tips along the way. If you do leave this project here is where we stand:

Scorpion/Subzero/Reptile = Complete

Raiden = Built rigged and ready for animation

Johnny Cage = Built rigged and ready for animation

Sonya = Built rigged and as far as I know (ready for animation) thanks Chris Beserk

Kano = Built (needs model tweaking) not rigged. Mortal Gojira gave us his source files.

Liu Kang = 90% complete (still need test your might also)

Shang Tsung = Built rigged and 90% complete (though if someone wants to redo Shang Tsung I wouldn't at all be against that) I still need morph targets which I can't have until every character's resting stance is completed.

Goro = Built not sure if riggged (talking about Arq's version.) Best thing about this is that Goro has a really limited set of animations and can probably be completed really quickly.

This means in a matter of maybe 2 months we could have 5 of 10 characters completed. These include: Goro, Sub,Scorp,Reptile, Liu Kang.

here you go :P
goro is not finished, he still needs some tweeking in the model and texture and than bones, muscles and of course the hair needs some work aswell, but as cal said, he doesn't have that many animations..

@bleed are you still willing to code my liu kang on your mugen so I can play with him?

This looks great. I think I remember you did tym with an old Liu model. Maybe you can post the final rendered gif. Don't remember seeing it. I bet if you redid that animation it would look much better now that your skills have improved so drastically.

fall and kip up animations

Dude your skype is broken. I've messages you a bunch and never got a reply also. This was last year though.

fall and kip up animations

It's a good start, but although I can't really put a finger on it, it's a bit odd the way his torso rises.
Like the motion is too long and smooth.
I'll try to give some better feedback later, but again, it's a real good start.
Nice job, arq!

Hey guys I'm trying to give some help to the team gathering information for the programming stage. So far I got very few information (great part of UMK3 source code, yet it doesn't helps too much; code snippet on sonya's square wave punch, that also doesn't helps too much), one of the most important information we need is the hitboxes (hidden boxes of every character that defines the collisions), I saw that some of you has found very underground information, maybe you guys can give some help on finding this stuff !
