mmmmmmm kitana looks like an old woman? i mean in her body proportions, not seem young and eternal. Quality is really perfect, ark also this result in her fece is very closed to Katalin.

body proportions are made to fit my client's needs, every inch of her body was as my client wanted to be, thanks either ways

The project would never see the light of day.... I do think your work is amazing, however... you are concentrating wayyyyyyy to much on the tiny tiny tiny tiny TINY details... just get the basics done first, such as all characters/backgrounds, blood, audio, all movement animations (but for these just the basics...then once EVERYTHING is done, then tear away at it fixing the finer details like the size of a characters nose or that the character animation is "close enough" to that of the actual in the original versions...) ive seen this project progress since MK9 (2011) was out.... MK 11 will come out and this still wont be completed... your team will probably only be finished 30% of the project by then I bet... people are going to lose interest over a 6 year span... i mean ill always be interested but... anyways. Keep up the GREAT work guys... just do it a little FASTERRRR! Okay bye

Well Arq did say this was being done for a client who specified all of those details. Still if your comment was pointed at the overall project, I'd say we need to focus on getting Raiden, Cage and Kano completed. Shang Tsung is done but could definitely be better. All of the backgrounds and every tiny little details has been recreated from the original game. Unfortunately it is the characters that make it and it takes an enormous amount of work to model, rig, animate and render. I'm talking 150 hours plus. So for this reason, you don't want to gloss over the tiny details and then come back to it later. It quite frankly just will never happen. You'll have a shitty representation of what the character is supposed to look and animate like. Bleed set the standard now Arq and Cris have picked up the torch and really run with it. Whenever Arq and Cris are ready to pick up a new character that's when the project well drive home to some level of completion. The good news is that Cage and Raiden are both rigged up (which eliminates a huge part of the work) thanks to Bleed. That leaves someone to take on Kano. In 2016 I'd love for Arq to take 1 character of the 3 remaining and Cris to take the other. I'd say realistically this project could be completed by the end of 2017.
 
Looks like calactyte always lives in parallel universe.) It's difficult to make normal engine and gameplay.
And current speed of work with models/animations.. I have serious doubts it will be released until 2020 year.

Show some screen shots of other finished characters in the finished backgrounds... oh will you also have the reptile secret fight at the bottom of the pit?... that would be intenseeeee.. how does the blood animations look? Would love to see that... also for the announcer, you are just using the original MK1 announcer right? Or recording from scratch?.. also will you by anychance be having the NRS logo (for copyright) in the attract mode as well as the Midway logo?... i guess thats kind of a dumb question... nvm that last one lol

Only reason I can see what Le@n is saying is because of Arq's reply. I ignore him because he literally adds nothing to this thread. He must be so depressing to be around with all his negativity. You know what I can't stand about critics like Le@n, they don't help to build anything but then whine and complain that things aren't built.

So no Le@n I'm not living in a parallel universe. I am hopeful that we can complete these assets at the highest level possible. Unless you have proof I am wrong, then please present it to everyone. However if you can't prove it, why not show us you want this to succeed. Or do you only show here to see if we will fail so you can feel better about your own project? Actually don't answer that, I won't be able to read it anyway.

Sorry, I don't have time machine to prove your words. My opinion is based only on my personal observations.
You talk that half of the project was finished.. Never seen finished models/animations for each character.
Besides, MK HD Remake requires engine, sounds etc. None of these was presented in finished form.

Finally, I like various project such as MKP, MKSH, MKOW, MKUW.

That's some fine work, but that Kitana's face looks off. It doesn't quite look like Katalin Zamiar. Maybe it's because the eyebrows, eyelashes and hair around the face are too bright? Katalin's most recognizable features are her beautiful long nose and her very dark hair, eyebrows and eyelashes. Also the nose in your model looks too flat and wide at the middle. I mean, this is what Katalin is supposed to look like:

Guys let's not quarrel and be more peaceful, after all everyone knows that the project deserving of quarrels is certainly to be found elsewhere. I believe that HD Remix is a still a good enough representation of us the fans to Midway and NRS alike, even as tribute. The progress is amazing to me, and as a true MK fan I can say that mask and eyeliner are essential to faithfully recreate MK2 Kitana.

Raiden and Cage are both rigged and ready but you'll need Max 2015 with it so that you can render Bleeds files. Do you need me to post the 3ds Max files for you? Since Raiden has cloth dynamics involved you'll probably need a powerful machine to render.

Would you rather work on the mostly unfinished Kano?

Congratulations on your completion of Sonya, Cris Berserk!
I think I speak for everybody when I say I am seriously awed by your improvement over the course of your Sonya creation!
The Sonya model itself was great from the start. Meanwhile, while your first animations looked a bit stiff, they improved dramatically with every new animation and the latest animations were instant successes! You are finishing Sonya as a master of the trade and I hope you find some use with your expertise!
