Mortal Kombat Halloween Kostumes !

I saw these on Partycity the other day and I was like "STFU" lol.. they are pretty accurate. I just wish they would make actual boots and not boot covers! And these girl need a little more meat. Hehe
 
I finally saw them for realz today. The scorpion kostume looks way better than the sub-zero most of the stuff that's metallic in the photo is grey it just doesn't look that good. Ill take pics if I get one or try one on next time I go to wal-mart. The female kostumes look sick would love to see some females lookin all MK sexy on All Hallows Eve!
 
The girl's costume look good but a lil too slutty IMO... ya, ya, I know the chars themselves ares really slutty but thats not a good thing *tut, tut, tut* The guy's look a bit weird.... I wouldnt dress up as a MK char anyway.. Why? It sux to be a girl on halloween, I only like males chars and thats not only the case in MK T_T pffft, I wanna grow a penis just for halloween xD

I went the cheap route and got a karate gi + black belt from a martial arts supply store and the coolie hat I'm sporting in my avatar at a stage supply store (for $2!) and will be MK1 Raiden for Halloween.

I got inspired by John Tobias' twitter where he said they got most of the costumes for MK1 from a martial arts supply store nearby and went from there.

i'm 5'8" 200 pounds. i spent 7 hours making and sewing wire framing into the mask. the masks are all messed up. it takes a hell of a lot of effort to fix them. also, get a balaclava, they are like 5 bucks.

have you bought all of your raiden gear yet? if you have, i want to see some pics man! epic beard raiden needs to be seen!
 
I checked out the official costumes the other day, kind of dissapointing. The details look cool but they seem a little small. I mean Sub-Zero is supposed to be 6.2' and well built. They are cool just a little too small. Going to have to get one special made if you want to do things right :)
 
it cost me about $60 to make this... its always better to make your own costume so that you will be unique. i dont wanna have the same costume as 20 other people i know. lol

and one day....my baraka costume will come together....

i was scorpion in 6th grade....about 5 years ago i was kano...put together a helluva last minute costume too..wasnt planning on dressing up...but always wanted to roll as baraka...i doubt i have time to make it happen this year though

Looks pretty cool man good job! I checked out some mateials I found some boss quilted fabrics in red, black, and blue. The blue is perfect for classic Sub-Zero unfortianatly I have the new MK9 mask, so i either got to keep looking or buy a klassic hood
