Mortal Kombat Armageddon

I don't really like the name. " Armageddon ". Its kinda been used to death by.. Well, everything. I was expecting something that started with the letter " D ". Following the former titles, Deadly Alliance and Deception.
Does anyone agree, disagree, or have their own name for the upcoming 7th Mortal Kombat. Oh, and sorry ' Freak '. I was joking and didn't know. I'm a new member, but have known the site for a while. :)

Anyway, we don't even know for a fact that Armageddon will be the final title of the game. It could just be the working title-- if you'll remember, Deadly Alliance started out as Vengeance.

Personally, the name means diddly-squat to me. I'm much more concerned about the game itself.
 
MK5 had Vengence because it began with a V. V is the no. 5 in Roman Numerials. MK:DA was the fifth game.

I am not bothered by the title. A name is just a name. If it was called 'bunny killer' I'd still like it (but man that wouldn't make sense for a MK game to be called that! :lol: ). So long as the game is good, thats all thats important... and the fact its another game.

I agree with you man, I don't care if the name is Mortal Kombat: Returns (pretty bad, lol) I just look forward to the game itself. I can just imagine all the new features in the upcoming game, its going to be so nice.
 
"Mortal Kombat Returns", hell yeah, now there's an idea. After that we can have "Mortal Kombat Forever" and "Mortal Kombat and Robin", each one becoming increasingly shittier than the last until the series is a complete laughing stock. Then, 8 years later, someone will reinvent the series with "Mortal Kombat Begins" and everything will be cool again.

Armageddon doesn't really bug me, but maybe it should be something else, so people never ever think we're referring to Anihilation when we say MKA
 
Yeah the Vengeance plot could have been Shinook wants to take revenge of Quan Chi for betraying him or something like that. Or Shao Khan wants revenge on all Earthrealm warriors.
 
A good name would be Mortal Kombat- Hell on earth!!! OR count 1-2-3 with scorpion! THEY COULD MAKE EDUCATION GAMES OUT OF MK!

Lol, thats awesome man. Yeah, I can just imagine that, ok maybe I do care about the titles just a little bit, lol. But I honestly think Armageddon is a really good title, I love it. But as to someone said, maybe they should change it because some people could get confused and think somebody is talking about Annihilation.
 
We should refer to the game as something like MK:Arm instead of MK:A... To avoid confusion.

Anthologies? Isn't MK: austrilia (don't kill me if I spelt it wrong) doing a series named that name?

First of all Angel, I think you are right and I recommend we say MK: Arm for now on instead of MK:A (which we'll leave to Annihilation).

Second of all, I am not too sure if MK: Australia is in development of anything with the word Anthologies, I will look into this.

I hope so too, they are in development of a site. So I am pretty sure the next Mortal Kombat game will be Armageddon. I am very sure soon enough into the game they will have some screens of it at least.
