This. I don’t need to see every fatal blow or all fatalities before actually playing the game. I just want to know who is on the roster.

Yes, this is crap and it is what I was afraid of when I heard about customization. It would be great with shades of their default colors. White sort of works for both too, but as I mentioned a few days ago - there is a reason the ninjas have a certain color. Green like a reptile, red like an error, purple rain, grey smoke and a black shadow. Ketchup and mustard as well.

Yea the color palletes are preset, probably better that way so we don't get people making ugly joke custom colors, Pink Noob is still a dream tho :laugh:

Out of everything, this is the only thing I hate. I would like an ice blue Sub-Zero as a nod to how he looked in the original games. But I guess I'll have to settle for Rain in the winter..

I love the idea of full character customization. Some of the best costumes in MKX were with alt colors. Reptile's alt p2 color was earth tones of brown and yellow and it looks great on him. I hope NRS continues with this in the future and lets players decide what looks good on their characters rather than archaic rules that only a few truly care about

I really love the customization itself. I am especially excited for custom intros and victory taunts.
The color changes just don't really work on the ninjas in my opinion. Should be different shades. Loved the P2 red on Klassic Ermac in MKX.

I wouldn't have a problem with the ninjas having more color variety and choices, if wasn't for the fact their costumes look so similar. Right now the customization options, particularly leg/torso are way too conservative, all being heavily based on their original look. If the designs had more eye-popping contrast, there would be a need to be so strongly tied to color. Reptile taking a more animal-like appearance, and Ermac looking more like a mummy is a step in the right direction.

I think the color spectrum is pretty vast. RGB or CMYK, you have lots of shades to a color.
I hate to limit another person's experience, but they could totally make various shades of blue for Sub-Zero and leave the secondary color open. You could make it darker, you could make it lighter. There could be special ones? Much like Skarlet has her white variation? It could. But it could be a reference to something. Like a third unifrom in a soccer team.
But purple Sub-Zero, Green Scorpion, you know, these combinations, it just hurts the eye. They could improve on the shades instead of breaking the original colors. I'm not saying it must be THAT blue, but at the least blue for Elder God's sake. Still, doesn't ruin my experience: I'm sure Scorpion will be yellow and Sub blue in my variations.

Her greatest achievement in original timeline, was being frozen in an ice block.
MKDA. Frozen by the medallion. Left in a tomb.
MKDU. Frozen again by Sub Zero. Left in a dungeon.
MKA. Gets woken up by Taven. Gets killed with everyone else in Armageddon.
MKX. Sigh... Frozen again by Sub Zero. Left to stand in the courtyard.
You see where I am going with this? So seeing her made out of ice, would be like hearing the same joke for 10.000th time. It was funny the first time. But come on. Do something original.
I always saw a potential for Frost to be a more flexible and faster Cryomancer. Cause Sub Zero is a brute, so Frost could go with precision and speed.
But I swear, if it turns out they they actually made her into ice construct... all faith in their creative abilities is lost and I will just say f$ck it. Never expect anything from NRS.
I mean I don't need her to get preferential treatment. Hell no. Just give her an interesting design. Something exotic, but really cool (no pun intended).
