I didn't see anything stolen from Mileena.
I don't understand. If you were saying they're similar then that's always been established. It's nice Mileena is, fingers crossed, sitting out a game for once and even better, we get awesome characters like Jade.

What doesn't make sense is why are these monks and guards still there. The tournament has been over on his island since the first 3rd of MK9's story and Shang Tsung got absorbed in to Sindel. Not to mention the gap in time between that and MKX.

The only thing that makes since is that these stages got raped by Kronika in an alternate timeline.

I guess Spawn's chances being in MK11 are way more likely now. Spawn got in SC2 because Macfarlane toys had the figure rights to SC2 and Namco Bandai was making a Spawn video game to promote the latest comic story arc (Spawn was still popular in the early 2000s). Having in Spawn in MK11 would be a good way to promote the upcoming movies and the Macfarlane toyline. Not to mention, it would give people a chance to check out the comics.

That's the reason why I think that Kronika went back in time to MK1 and destroyed certain things.
The guards, monks and Goro all died where they were (seemingly) during the time of MK1.
Her killing Goro during the time of MK1 means that he never joins Mileena's side in the MKX comics and the feud between him and Kotal Kahn never happen, perhaps giving those events a different outcome.

Then she is most definitely responsible for Shao Kahn in this game. I think she needs him to exist for what ever her plan is in this story.

Also, don't know if it was just a re-used asset or whatever, but in the MK11 reveal trailer pre-order Shao Kahn goes and sits of Goro's throne in his Lair.
I didn't notice it until I saw it now again in Jade's trailer.

Yeah. I can already tell that the only way that primary outfit was allowed in the first, was because her skin color is grey. It ain't too sexy if it is dead skin.

So yeah. I was never a fan of sexy themes, but... in this case. That's sad. I am literally watching a censored version of a game. I am glad that Japanese at least have the backbone. When Ninja studio tried to censor DOA6, people spoke and top guys in the company, said "screw that SJW shit".

I thought majority of MKX designs were boring, but this? Holy hell. Wholesale slaughter of creative freedom.

Tried to laugh it down, but now it reminds me of how for granted I took the games back then and the feeling sucks.

Yes, just checked, it is definitely Goro's throne Shao Kahn is sitting on. Might be connected to the massacre on Tsung's island but may also be just a cool scene teasing Shao Kahn.

Maybe Shao Kahn took it all with Kronika's help and murdered all the guards?

I don't think Shao Kahn needs help with that.
 
Since Jade was confirmed, I think that this proves more that Kotal Kahn, Cassie, Jacqui, Frost, Erron Black and the 3 other new characters are likely.

Actually this one was pretty lame after Jade's reveal and seeing some of her variations after. Guys are just playing MK. Without a character reveal it is actually not even worth the time IMO.

EDIT: It was such a missed opportunity when they had a match being blindfolded. They could let them choose D'Vorah and Kano to surprise both them and the viewers. One match would have been enough to hype people a little bit more. The next to weeks we won't be getting anything big I guess. I just want to know the roster.
 
No character besides Jade being revealed kinda sucks but Jade looks badass so it's alright. However I hope Ed and team doesn't skip Kombat Kast next week
 
I forget at what point but one of the guys accidentally mentions Erron Black, which pulls more credence towards the leak. Also I gotta say I am digging all of her designs, though her revenant look is the best so far, I do like that her alive outfit gives her a more mystical look. "Burkas" lol
 
I find it interesting that the way there handling reveals is giving the MKX returnees render stills to be shown off later but all the new/returning but wasn't in X characters immediately get full trailers, I guess we can expect them to run reveals like that for now on?
