The <a href="http://www.mkarmageddon.com">Official Mortal Kombat: Armageddon Website</a> has updated the <a href="http://www.mkarmageddon.com/question_mark.html">"question mark" page</a> with a new render. This time it is of the remake of the <b>MK3 Subway</b> stage from <a href="http://www.trmk.org/games/mortal_kombat_armageddon/">Mortal Kombat: Armageddon</a>. Also over on the <a href="http://forums.midway.com/all_things_mk_armageddon/b10762/p1">Midway Boards</a>, a concept drawing of <b>Sub-Zero's Motor Kombat</b> car and a render of the <b>Battle Arena</b> along with a sample of the stage's <a href="http://www.midway.com/images/MKA/MKA_BattleArena.mp3">background music</a> were released.

<a href="http://www.trmk.org/games/mortal_kombat_armageddon/">Mortal Kombat: Armageddon</a> is the last chapter in the current generation of <b>Mortal Kombat</b> games. Featured only on <b>Microsoft Xbox</b> and <b>Sony PlayStation 2</b>, the game will have the largest roster of characters and also feature a new "kart" racing mini-game dubbed <b>Motor Kombat</b>. The game will also appear on the <b>Nintendo Wii</b> in the first quarter of <b>2007</b>.

Nice update, dude. Subby looks cool on his motor sled, complete with spiky rear wheel. The Subway is a nice update as well. Note the "Midway Station" sign. I really miss where it used to say "Tobias/Boon" from way back in MK3.

That old sign was a classic, still have the original game where it says it though, memories. I really like the arena concepts, they look so detailed.

I'm not into Motor Kombat...am I alone on this? Its neat and all but it seems way to cheezy (even more so than Puzzle Kombat!) It might be better than I'm thinking it will be, but I'm sure that space could've gone to better use like more backgrounds!

My thoughts exactly, but I'm just going along with the crowd on the Motor Kombat issue. I too would have rather seen another 50 backgrounds than Kid Kart Kombat. If I had wanted to play karts, then in I pop Mario Cart. Same game just different characters. But Boon seems intent on compensating for the lack of Friendships, Babalities and other humorus stuff from games in the past. Online vs mode will be the best and most fun part of Moron Kombat

The humor factor is one thing, I can deal with that. But this is my gripe. back during E3, Midway was touting this secret feature which was so big and awesome that it could not be announced until after the event. So far this is the only new feature announced. Motor Kombat is not this big of a feature, its on the level of Puzzle Kombat and Chess Kombat. If this is the secret feature that Midway could not announce then this is terrible!

It was definitely hyped far too much. But I think it looks hilarious and fun to play anyway. Despite the false hype I think I'm gonna enjoy Motor Kombat.
