MKX Fan-Made Character Trailers

Ok, so I'm working on making Character trailers in a fashion similar to how NRS did them with MK9. The difference is that I'm gonna challenge myself to make the trailer seem a bit misleading storywise just like the Walking Dead did with the season 3 and Season 6 Trailer.

Currently, I'm working on a trailer for Mileena and I'll probably follow up with an Erron Black trailer. They'll be uploaded onto this thread when they are finished. My question is: Which Character(s) in particular would you all like to see have their own character trailer? I'm gonna try to do every character, but I want to make them for the characters people want to see the most.

I made some gameplay videos (in the style of trailers) for Mileena, D'Vorah, and Predator, but I never thought once of pulling clips from the story. Do D'Vorah.

I'd love a Kitana in Mournful Variation (Primary Outfit in SECONDARY COLOR) and Assassin Variation (Primary Outfit)! Thank you! ;)

Nice to see someone is interested in doing these kind of fan work. Almost 3 months ago myself and one of my friends have started working on something similar, And we've made this first video for Kenshi.

Good luck..

Now That was cool.

The only real road block I still have for now is deciding on how I'll be getting the music. Idk the extent of youtube's music rules and I don't work a job so I can't license music. Finding free to use music is difficult. With the hundreds I searched though today, I only found one.

You can take a copyrighted song and modify it, make it a bit more pitchy, that way it won't be illegal to use it and it's hardly noticeable.

I'll be doing Mileena tomorrow night (gotta download the music and I can't finish editing the video without the PS4 which is in my younger brother's room. He had school. Plus, my internet is slow until midnight).

Due to the high demand, I'll definitely do Kitana someday after. Then Subzero. And when I find music to match for them, D'Vorah and Erron Black.

EDIT (9/17/15): Sorry guys, Friday. The music isn't doing so hot and I've been extremely busy with school.

Ok, so I'm working on the Kitana trailer right now, hopefully will be up tomorrow night. The theme I'll be using will be a bit...obscure. Closer to a 16 bit theme I felt would definitely fit the trailer.

Now for Sub, I'm really stuck with the choice of music. I was planning to use this one hip-hop style song which actually literally matches Kano so he'll have it instead. I was wondering should I use Zetsubou no Billy by Maximum the Harmone or do any of you have another theme in mind?

Now with Erron Black, I found two themes I could use: Beast of America (Bioshock Infinite) or She's Lost Controll (Wet) which bother could also fit Jacqui Briggs. So I'd like your opinions on which should get which?

Finally, I want to do a longer trailer with Quan Chi and the dead heroes using the song Faint by Linkin Park so be prepared for that sometime in the future.

P.s How do you get Kitana's Revenant costume? I have the Dark Empress but I don't have the revenant.

Nice work on the Mileena one!

With Sub-Zero I think he needs music that has a lonely mystery to it with an underlying tone of redemption, hip hop just wouldn't suit his personality. I also think Zetsubou no Billy by Maximum the Harmone is too hard core for him. Sub-Zero is calm, controlled, mysterious, wise, charismatic, compassionate, intelligent, solitary and authoritative all the while masking his pain including the guilt for what he did as a Revenant.

I think Steve Blum captured all of this and then some. If you can match a theme that harmonises with how Steve Blum plays him you should find some thing really fitting.

I would love to help on the background music for the trailers plus adding in extra audio such as sound effects, etc... what i need you to do though is record the gameplay and footage you want to use, but make sure the games bg music is turned off. Putting music over music is terrible... okay well let me know guys :D
