MKX at EGX London 2014

We actually did get some fun stuff out of this event. We finally got to see Cassie's full X-ray, we got to see Raiden's X-ray, we got some pre-fight character dialogue and whatever information the Kombat Tether will be putting out with their interview (if they get their s*** together and actually release it).

So all in all, not too bad. No "official" releases, but I'm sure NRS expected people to record some of the goodies with their phones and sh**.

They really do need to give us a new character (or any new material) soon. This has not been a very good promotional month for them.
 
I hope The Kombat Tether played D'Vorah against Kotal. The dialogue could be interesting as Boon said they had some sort of relationship.

Don't be ungrateful! The guys from The Kombat Tether spent their time and money for get to London, then asked some of our questions from that Derek guy and yes, they played the game so it was good for them. But they could easily kept their experiences for themselves and they are not obliged to write hands-ons or type interviews after a tiring trip to London and back from I don't know where they live. They have a life too and if they want a free weekend they have every right to do so.

You should be glad that they even write a hands-on for you and release exclusive details.

And I agree with Ricochetmatt: if NRS didn't want any details to be uncovered, they would never let any of those X-Ray leaks. They didn't want it to be full HD for now but they let it happen. Brasil Game Show is in two weeks time and they wanted to keep up the hype that way. And those intro dialogues also has hints in them. So you can huff and puff all the way you want but it's pointless. We got something and it's still better than nothing.

I was just joking. I do appreciate TKT filling in for NRS, hopefully providing some new info, but they are still taking an unusual amount of time to simply post something up on the internet. (Unless it's more complicated than that, in which case: please enlighten me.)
 
The problem is that they keep saying it's going to come out at this time... And then it doesn't. Then they claim they will release it "tomorrow". But once again, nothing. It's getting a little obnoxious. lol

Not that it matters. I doubt they have anything that'll excite me.
 
They have less than 7 months before the release of the game so we should be getting multiple character reveals at some points over this time. I'd be expecting 2 characters at the next reveal but I'm sick of waiting for reveals. I'm so excited and I just can't hide it.
 
me too... this time i thought there will be a reveal on sunday... i'm waiting and waiting and nothing happens... goddamn!
 
Boon will be at the brazil show which is between Oct 8-12 so we're either getting new stuff within this week just so they can have a chance to show them off / have them as playable content during the show or we're getting new stuff on Oct 8th.

No, they are behaving like silly biatches, and they won't reveal anything else, I decided to stop waiting and now I live really happy

I feel like this site and Testyourmight are the only sites that can actually discuss (as well as Facebook groups) anything that the Kombat Tether puts out, seeing how MKO's dictator refuses to allow anything from these guys to be posted. Such as shame, because people DO deserve to discuss stuff about Mortal Kombat.

I really enjoyed reading the interview that they had with Derek and what they managed to find out from what they've played with the characters. I would have liked a little bit more info on Ferra Torr, but that's just me.

Also, they're still polishing up on Cassie's neck problem, which is a good thing to know, right?

But my favorite part is the dialogues that they managed to capture. Some of them are really intriguing to know and I cannot wait to see what the story is going to be like. D'Vorah is turning out to be a very interesting character just based on the stuff she says to a few characters, mainly Raiden. I just kinda wished that they were able to hear what she and Kotal says to each other but oh well I can wait.

Another thing is that I don't get why a lot of people thought that Goro wouldn't be played like the other characters in this game just because he is DLC. Not sure how that managed to come up but whatever, he's got variations, he'll play like any other character, I'm down with that.

Good job with the interview from the Tether folks!

Yes, very hypocritical and very pathetic. All because the lone "mod" (If you even want to call him that) has some issue with the lead creator of the site, you cannot post anything from them. Which is a shame since they're basically one source that gets enough information that can be discussed for a very long time.

I see more and more people leaving that wasteland, and I bet it'll be finally shut down by the end of this year if more and more people do the same.

But, I'm not really interested in discussing this further because I'm streaming Destiny at the very moment so yeah...
 
MKO is one of THE worst Mortal kombat forums in the universe.
