Do you think Sheeva and Smoke will be secret characters?

I understand why they would put Sheeva in, but I don't like it.
I hope they flesh out her story some, or give me more of a reason to give a damn about her.

You're a bit off. The "good" Sub-Zero didn't kill Scorpion, in fact, they're not even enemies. Scorpion got killed by the "neutral" Sub-Zero (Noob Saibot) because their clans were enemies. When Scorpion returned he killed Sub-Zero out of revenge. That's when the "good" Sub-Zero appeared, which is "neutral" Sub-Zero's younger brother.

He's banned anyway. But I don't support Stryker because I don't want to considered a follower. >_>

Unfortunately, TJHooker is not around these foruns anymore. RIP TJHooker.

I hope none of them are secret characters. I want the secret ones to be all new characters, like the lady in red aka Skarlet, or some more popular characters from MK4 or after, like Shinnok, or Quan Chi.

I may not completely like some of the MK1-3 characters, but it isn't fair to me to deny their fans the reboot with those characters in it. Of course they are going to work to make sure they are much more well-received this time, though.
 
I've been thinking that the voice leak was intended for us to find and maybe lead us astray from the actual playable characters. Also just because there is a voice leak doesn't actually make them a playable character so i don't think that Shao Khan will be a playable character.

or what about tremor or hydro i would like to see some characters that have never been used.

Sheeva was in Lupinko's leak in grave detail. Its not like he vaguely mentioned her. He even mentioned her fatality.....
And Lupinko wasn't wrong about his MvC3 leaks, what you probably searched for on google were forums and posts PRE release of MvC3 where people were spamming "Lupinko cant be right!!11 Sentinel cant possibly be in as a secret character Lupinko is stupid!!!11" and he was in, and Lupinko shut thousands of people up. He even predicted a ridiculously small detail about MK9 already in saying Kano would lick his knife before the video of him doing it came out.
He is a crazy twitter hacker, not a liar. He has no reason to straight up lie, and that's what he'd be doing by mentioning Sheeva in the detail he did. Come on now guys, think about it......

Lupinko says the red woman will also be the secret character. In an interview with Shawn(producer) he lets it slip that "a secret character that use to not be playable we'll make sure is actually playable now". If you know about Skarlett's(fan made name, she actually has no name) history you would know she was a super glitch in one of the MK games, she wasn't even a technical secret character, but she began a fan base. There's no doubt he's referring to her. No one else fits what he says. It's another thing Lupinko knew waaaaay before this info and again people questioned him(reasonably so).

And Smoke has his character INTRO, as in character INTRO to a battle on the audio leak.
The same audio leak that gave us the 100% assurance that Quan Chi was in the game before we knew his fatality from the Australia leak. That 100% guarantees that the audio leak is true. And even more so, the audio leak can't possibly be fake because it's voices are well known voice actors.... come on now.... seriously guys. I understand people to be reluctant about "leaked" information, but at this point with our evidence saying that they aren't true is just a little bit naive.

And the question about them being "secret" unlockable characters: I personally really doubt it. Why would they be secret when Stryker and Kabal are on the original cast. If they are in they are part of the starting roster. And they are pretty much in.

Annnnd here's the audio leak, this is VERY OLD already. It's confirmed characters that we know are confimred now with 100% accuracy. It's legit... it was leaked from the NRS website itself....

We already have a thread about the full roster. It's literally like 4 threads down from this one. PLEASE, guys, stop making threads on the same thing. Adding a poll doesn't make it that much different from the other one. This same conversation is happening in the other thread.

Hahaa ! Epic fail.

Scorpion is NOTHING without Sub-Zero and vice versa. Their rivalry was what made them awesome in the first place. Subby is my fav kharacter, but that doesn't mean I hate Scorpion at all. In fact, they are essential parts of themselves.

Btw, Sub-Zero kicked Scorpion's ass because they were sent on the same mission by Quan Chi. Do you not think that Scorpion would've killed Sub-Zero had he not done the same to him ? Scorpion just got owned by Sub-Zero and he got pissed and seeked revenge (and mistakenly thought he also killed his family, when it was really Quan Chi's doing).

Its going to be all of the MKT kharacters with Quan Chi taking over Rain's place. The red lady will be a sercret kharacter and it will be better if she is a secret kharacter. Shao Kahn isn't going to be playable, and if he is, they are probly going to do something like MK4 and put a kode in, DLC, or something like MKvsDC.

Then Scorpion killed Sub-Zero #1 and kicked Sub-Zero's ass in MK4. Yeah, Sub-Zero is better. LOL.
 
The audio leaks wasn't failed us yet. Noob Saibot had a audio leak and he is komfirmed. Same goes for Sindel, Styker, and Shang Tsung.
 
Why are we still discussing roster speculation when all that is left to be officially revealed is Sheeva (I'm assuming smoke is in because of the leak). Shao Kahn IS NOT part of the 26, I dont know why some of you still include him in that list. Hes either Unlockable or Unplayable. Its annoying to see that people are still considering Shao Kahn part of the main roster.
 
I feel like I'm the only one saddened by the possibility that Sheeva may not be part of the initial roster. The two characters I used most in the 2D era were Kabal and Sheeva yet quite a bit of anger is directed toward these two from some players. Sure, there are a couple characters on the roster that I "dislike" but I'm glad they are in the game as it makes the experience more complete.. I also used Stryker a lot too. XD (LK+HP+HP+LP+Baton Throw anyone? Anyone?...Oh.)
 
Does anyone else think that there could be 28 kharacter slots. We haven't seen the kharacter selection since PAX. And we haven't had an official interview with Ed talking about how many kharacters. So that could add in everybody PLUS Smoke and Sheeva. Any other way, they could be unlockables or DLC. I do hope Quan Chi is DLC instead of Smoke.

Shao Kahn and Goro will most likely not be playable. They wouldn't substitute a kharacter for a sub-boss or boss.
 
Wow are some of you kidding me :S? Someone already made a list of the playable characters and it was exactly 26. Everyone weve expected to be in, is in, Goro is unplayable, Shao Kahn is either unplayable or unlockable, Rain is most likely DLC and the Red Lady is probably a secret as well unless she replaces Sheeva. Everyone else is in, yall need to calm your asses down.
