Good to see that there are sensible people around.
I hate that neither NRS or MS have commented on the issue. If I know I'm not getting a demo I won't mind. I'd arrange to test the game at a friends place before ordering it. As it is, I do not know what to do.

The fact that PS3 owners get exclusive or that they got the demo before us does not boughter me. Kratos is a good fit, hope you guys ahve fun with him.
I just think everyone should have a fair chance to test a game before purchase. Even though the game looks awesome and people say it plays great I am still sceptical. I was 9 when I last played a Mortal Kombat game and, as I understand, since then they have gotten progressively worse. I am not going to spend my hard earned money based on word of mouth and it's about time to preorder the game so I would love the chance to at least test it for a day.
 
meh, its Wednesday, i just woke up and im going to check the market place for the demo, idk if any of you already did but yeah. ill tell you if i see anything if not the thread should be closed to stop further arguments

I just want NRS to say a straight answer on the situation at some point. They have danced around and dodged questions the entire time. That would have stopped almost all of these arguments from day 1.

I don't know why, but I hate this guy and all of his games. So I guess seeing him killed in every way imaginable wouldn't be too bad.
 
I called it, I told you guys, they wont release a big game demo without saying anything, stop checking your XBL demo's, IT wont be here till NRS/Microsoft says so.

I know that you are right. Still, I want to try the game so damn much that against all hope I do a google search every now and then and check marketplace like 3 times a day.
It's stupid, but it is telling of how much fans like this game series. (Well I only played the first two games, but those were the real ones anyway.) Which is the very reason for me not understanding how NRS and WB can mistreat approximately half of their fanbase this way. I know MS are jackasses, but NRS should just spell it out straight. They have the most to lose.

dude microsoft doesnt send you a message saying "hey check out our demos we have mortal kombat!" they just release them if ANYONE is going to give a confirmation about the demo it will be Ed Boon and the Team
 
And the fact that they won't answer any question with a straight answer doesn't help. I know you all say that Boon and his team "get their kicks" from messing with the fans but at some point you would think they would have to actually grow up and get serious for 5 minutes and answer questions that have been going for months honestly. They choose to be vague and hide behind smoke and mirrors with jokes and misdirections. Some may like their style like that but personally I don't. I would rather them be brutally honest and answer questions directly than to just screw with people for fun. At least that way no one could blame them for anything at the end of the day.

Except that when big games are going to come out, they make a big deal about it, Just look at how big the DEMO launch for PS3 was, press releases and everything.

The game is coming in less than a week! be excited for that, not some beta build!

Trust me, I'm just as anxious for the demo as everyone else, but I don't expect one just to pop out of the rabbit hole.

I've been playing final fantasy games all week, just to pass time!
 
Demo or not at least you guys can still play the game.. Be thankful for that.. I remember times where xbox got demos that ps3 never got.. It sucks you guys aren't getting a demo but no need to be pissed or flame.. like i said at least you guys can still get to play the game.
 
It's sad that there is no 360 demo, I really wanted to test it with 360 controllers or even have a glance of which content would be exclusive for 360. Anyway, If I have to run with the demo, I will post it here. It's really unfair for 360 owners.
As for the PS3, stop messing around with the 360 users. It's uncool to bother other people when you have something cool and they don't.

LoL we aren't messing with you guys.. Ya'll just feel that way.. it sucks they didn't decide to give you guys a demo but thats the world of gaming some consoles buy rights to exclusives and others don't.. :( how do you guys think it feels for us when 360 gets things and ps3 doesn't? Point is they should've put the demo on both instead of only one.
