Rumors don't get games entered into major retailer's computer systems. The game is legit, but just not coming out today. Maybe not anytime this year either. Hell... it might have been cancelled altogether, for all we know. It's just a shame WB is leaving us in the dark like this.

Yeah, that also works. But you know, the 16th has come and nothing to show for it. I say we just stop expecting it because it isn't going to be this month or even the next. Besides, I own a 360. Weather this is released or not is no consequence to me at all. But I was curious about it.

Actually this could still be a DLC release. I remember when Sonic the Hedgehog 4 was supposed to come out on the PS store, it didn't show up til around 8pm EST. Not to get anyones hopes up, but there still might be a chance, otherwise I'm crossing my fingers for December.

Oh, I stopped expecting it a while back. I was optimistic that it might.... might... somehow magically be released today, but didn't think it would be. Surprise, surprise. Until it's officially announced, I won't expect it.

But Sonic 4 was announced months before it was released. There were screenshots and videos out there. The HD Kollection? Not so much.

the last chance it´ll see the day is from the psn update, or an statement from WB or NR or BB ... still no update done on psn .. so .. letz see... few ours to go though .. and besides.. why is it that over at NR/WB nothin happend for Mortal Monday? not even on the Twitter/Facebook site... no ones there it seems!

two words that sum up this whole mess perfectly. I woke up this morning and immediately went on Playstation nework, and no MK HD. I think if this game was even in production, we would have had a few leaked screens by now regardless. WB and NR are'nt saying anything because there is no game, we can't get mad because they generated no hype at all for this game. If they were making it I'm sure we would have gotten at least an announcement by now, and I'm pretty sure they would'nt want to release this anywhere near the release date of MK 2011 because this would surely compromise sales for it. I say the only glimmer of a 1% spec of hope is this gets released as an expansion pack DLC with MK 2011 or as a second disc in a kollector's edition of MK 2011, which is slim because gamestop would be taking orders for a special edition by now.

And you think the game just randomly appeared on Gamestop's and Walmart's (among other major retailers) upcoming release list? Those are not run by fans, publishers (see: WB) must submit titles and anticipated release dates for those lists.

I really just don't get it. If it were released today, I would have said that the PR for this being so viral was interesting but a bit fugged up. I mean, it wouldn't have been so damned bad if it actually happened. But... you know, I was pretty much expecting this.

It's not like they even announced the game and delayed it a week before release *cough GT5* Besides, PSN doesn't get updated until 6:00PM EST and sometimes a bit later.
Still, can't say I'm not irritated by the lack of info thus far. It's been four months, and even an announcement would be nice at this point.

@ ShawBronald... yes, it seems that way, it would'nt be the first time a game appeared/disaapeared like this, like I said, in my opinion, if there was any truth to this kollection, we would have had at least a few leaked screens by now, theres a sound byte on youtube supposedly from the game, but thats it. one example with an MK game to boot is in '95 Gamestop (called Software ETC back then) had a listing for UMK 3 for the 3DO for a very brief time, then it dissapeared. I cant even find anything on the internet now about a 3DO version of UMK 3 but it was on their list, if even for a breif time, another example which I brought up in a previous post is Killing Time on PS1. listed/reserved by me, several delays later cancelled and never brought up again Belive me, I wanted this to happen as bad as evryone else here, but we gotta look at the facts, and the facts say this is'nt happening (not soon anyways) I think in the end MK 2011 is the HD Kollection, its a high def re-imagening of the fist 3 1/2 games. If we see a true HD kollection anytime soon, I'll be ready to eat my words....

Went to Best Buy and Wal-Mart on my lunch.. no sign of it. Though walmart proved to be smart ones when telling me just becuase it's not in stores it could be a online exclusive, luckily a media rep was there and he said on his pda no release for this week of a mortal kombat game.
