again. do you really think if it wasnt for nolans films the batman universe itself would be this big thing amongst the average movie goer who dosent even read comics?

keep in mind batman wasnt big anymore movie wise since batman and robin tanked hard. yea you can argue the popularity of the animated series but that dosent help the case at all. and just because a toon is great dosent mean a movie version of it will be

Ok how about this? The forget the movies, what of the games?
People played Arkham City.

Arkham City had Batman, Nightwing, Catwoman, Harley, Joker and Bane
The average movie goer would have at least heard about this game correct?

Also Batman hasn't been big since Batman and Robin tanked? Dude that movie was in the 90's. Batman Begins was in 2005 not to mention all the other animated shows like Batman Beyond, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, The Batman, his animated movies like Under The Red Hood, Gotham Knight, Dark Knight Returns, etc.

Of course those are comic book animated movies but still you can't deny Batman has always been big with/without the nolan movies

ok and? games and movies are 2 different things. just like the cartoon just because someone is popular in one thing dosent mean itll happen with a film

you have to look at this from a buisness point of view because these films dont just cater to fans it caters to both comic fans and everyday people who arent fans and are just looking for a summer blockbuster to go see.

if nightwing was so easy to do how can there be a nightwing film when you would have to start him off as robin for his orgin? you cant just simply start at nightwing and say oh forget his past history. its just not doable. besides im one of those people who are just sick of orgins but to the new following they have to have it.


also can you name one good video game movie that has been a good movie that isnt the 1995 mortal kombat?
