I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one tired of all the whining. Sonya clearly looks like Bridgette Wilson. They made lots of progress with the women's features in this game, still people complain. I don't even understand it by now - when they're just a bunch of generic thin body sluts with unrealistic features, people complain. When they look realistic and have common women features, people complain. What the hell?! Since when, exactly, all women in this planet were supposed to have "perfect" (I don't believe in that concept, but that's another story) features/traces? They all look like women. Different women, at that. That seems to be one of the few things that NRS actually learned (I just wish they would do some homework on Asian/Japanese culture and history).
PS.: I do agree that the necks look weird, though.

I kept trying to figure out who the Jax concept art reminds me of, and then it hit me.

Idris motherfuggin Elba.

I never really cared for Jax and I still don't, but this is a sick look for him.

I noticed the Bridgette Wilson resemblance as well! Her portrayal of Sonya has always by far and away been my favorite.

I'm happy that Johnny and Sonya were leaked and I'm happy they're in the game. If all the other MK1 characters are going to be in, they should as well. Although, I would be ok with Liu Kang being absent from the main roster, just because that would mean more resurrections.

Don't worry, I won't be playing MKX, just watch the Storymode in Youtube and that's it, I hate this game more than MK1, and that is something.

And i'm sick and tired of all those NRS-slaveboys in here. Yuck! Even if they throw a full SF roster at them they probably like it.

Last time I checked, fighting games' overall quality was about gameplay, balance and controls.

If you won't buy the game, that's ok but with all my respect, I have to say ditching and hating game because of characters that might all have unique playstyles, is comparable to Xbox FPS kids hating the game because of it having "bad graphics".

Sure other games also have weird or generic, weirdass characters that I either hate or just don't care like Rufus, El Fuerte, Abel or Hakan in SFIV due to their (joke / generic) character design, but they all have totally unique playstyle.

Mortal Kombat for me is

1) The story +Characters
2) Fatalities, special moves, other talities and stages
3) gameplay, i'm not a real big fighting-game player, but I enjoy it from time to time (only darkstalkers, mortal kombat, killer instinct and streetfighter though)

I'm just a MK addict, movies, gadgets, comics and games.

I'm so mad because Mr.Troll gave me big hope back in JUne 2014, this will be the biggest roster, most new characters ever, Tanya seemed to be leaked already with voice and x-ray and everyhthing seemed perfect.

Now we know the full roster I see its wasted on Special Forces, its like Boon wanted to torture fans of the 3D era and of Rain...

I wouldn't care for it too much and being such emotional wreck if Boon just said at the start that characters like Tanya, Reiko, Havik, Rain and others like that wouldn't be in MKX at all, so I didn't get my freaking hopes on. If he would just say it would be Johnny VS Jax again I wouldn't cared for MKX and I would't even be on this forum today, but they kept my hopes up even now, it's because of the hero leakers that we know more.

There is no reason in keeping bland and boring human characters like SOnya, Jax and Jhonny for the last reveals, other than shame. Those boring, good-for-nothing (yes for people with limited fantasy and imagination, probably people that enjoy watching soccer/football and watching action movies with Bruce Willis...) characters should have been revealed first.

Mileena, Tanya, Havik, Sektor, Baraka, Reptile, Kira, Skarlet, Frost, Ermac, Rain, Fujin, Reiko, Kai, Sareena, Shang Tsung, Kabal, Kano, Kotal, D'vorah, Ferra, Kintaro, Tremor and many, many more.

Its just the way they announced MKX and the way they let down many fans that i'm annoyed in. Wasting spots on Jax over Rain is the worst thing for me.

Thats bull, because of their costumes. Rain looks like a detailed model as well, im just trying to say dont get your hopes up just yet, I know Jax has been seen in the Tower but does that mean playable? So Rain UMK3 confirmed?
 
Though a possible NPC only, I hope Sindel is much more than a challenge.

After what she has done on MK9, during the time she is a revenant, I hope she is more deadly.

Every character that they make us fight against, if not on the roster, I will be expecting as DLC.

Been playing with her on MK9, it would be a good option for a later DLC, if she is revived of course.

If she is not, well, I won't prefer her taking DLC places.
 
You guys seriously think we get to fight Rain, Sindel, Fujin and all other NPC's? LOL they will be Motaro's of MKX, they will only be there to die and show us how powerful Kotal and Special Forces are. no

I'm hyped even for a bland, in my opinion, character such as cassie due to the fact she has personality and I would be happy with her and just her, I can't stand another QQ story mode with sonya QQing about kano and cage all together. and I'm not the only one who feels this way. the least they could do is actually have another five or six classic non human characters/characters with something special about them/brand new non human characters/post mk3 characters but they chose to ruin the roster with this

Fact is: No matter how YOU want to put it, those lame ass post-MK3 characters were in high demand nowhere other than this very forum. Ask around on Twitter and other social media sites and you'll see that no one cares to see them. People want new characters, not cookie cutter goofballs like Havik, Hotaru, Drahmin, Darrius, and the rest of them.

Everyone knows that I am a fan of three post-MK3 characters: Reiko, Tanya, and Quan Chi. The ones you like, however, are garbage in my opinion. It is fact, though, that this forum (and possibly MKO) is the only place that has people crying out for characters that made their debut in DA/D/A.

By the way, how are you digging all the SF personnel in MKX?

No matter what anyone from NRS says, Jarek, Sareena, Tanya, Kira, Skarlet, Frost, Kai, "and many, many more" will never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever matter in Mortal Kombat. Never ever. Ever ever ever. Don't get your hopes up. It won't happen.

Not today... not 4 years from now when MK11 comes out... not 8 years from now when MK12 comes out. Don't expect it. Don't hope for it. Your life will be filled with much less disappointment this way.
